History
Techmo Super Bowl formed in the spring of 2001 with Bob Kern, Jon, Mark, and Nathan Black as the members. Leo Evans joined in december of that year, and played drums of their first recording session, but exited the band just over a year after joining. With members bringing influences from blues, to folk, to metal, to ska, to classic rock, to christian rock, it's no surprise the songs are distinguishable. A year after that recording session (via 4-track recorder) the band went into the studio, with Mark at the helm as producer. The band recorded 8 songs for an album to be entitled Kickoff. Both recording sessions occured before the band hit the gig industry, which commenced in spring 2003.
