What if you're getting ready for a parade, football game, etc. and all of a sudden it starts raining? You could wait and see if someone calls you to tell you the performance is cancelled, but even if you call another band member, you will never know for sure if the event's cancelled. So, what do you do? You call the high school: 599-5781, then dial Mr. Marsland's extension: 163. If the parade or football game's cancelled, chances are that there'll be a message saying so on the machine. If not, then assume that the performance is still on. The worst possible thing that could happen is that you get to the high school and no one else shows up; if you hadn't called the high school then you might be at home when you're supposed to be performing. Calling the school's your best bet, even if you're pretty sure it's cancelled. There's no harm in checking!! :)
