For several years, Mr. Marsland and some band members have been trying to put together a Band Council. Finally we have one, and now we have a web site!! Band Council members show and possess leadership on a daily basis, whether it be during class, rehearsals, or performances. We want to make the SHS Band the best it can be, and that does not just mean performing and playing well; it encompasses everything from equipment management to making sure other band members are well-behaved. Hopefully the organization will continue after this year!! Below is a list of the Band Council members for the 2004-5 school year:

Attention Students: Section leaders were determined from the seating auditions. Most likely, there will be three sectionals for your instrument per month, and you will be required to attend at least two.
