Katrina Lyn Davilis - Director of Bands, Asst. High School Director Miss Davilis received her B.S. degree at Ball State Unversity
in 1999. She excepted the job at Roosevelt Middle School in June of 1999
and has been teaching the talented students at RMS. She works as a guest
clinician in the surrounding schools; maintains a clarinet studio; plays
percussion the Lafayette Community Band in the summer; works extensively
with the "Spirit of Twin Lakes"; assists in hosting marching contest,
middle school organizational contest, solo and ensemble contest, IBA
honor band; works with "Great Lakes Music Camps"; assists H.S. marching
bands; and adjudicates. She is a member of MENC, IMEA, IBA, NBA,ISSMA,
SAI, and of course the "THE PRIDE OF ROOSEVELT" and "THE SPIRIT OF TWIN
LAKES"!
Mr. Charles J. Kubly - Asst. Director, High Band Director Mr. Kubly received his B.S. degree at Ball State University
in 1975 and his master degree in ????. He has taught at Twin Lakes since
his graduation in 1975, starting as the middle school director of bands
and taking the high school position in 1987. Mr. Kubly still assists
with the middle school bands; maintains a trombone studio; hosts marching
contest, middle school organizational contest, solo and ensemble contest,
IBA
honor band; serves as Zone 3 representative for ISSMA; guest conducts
in the state of Indiana; and adudicates. His a member of MENC, IMEA,
IBA, NBA, ISSMA, Sinfonia, and of course the "THE SPIRIT OF TWIN
LAKES" and "THE PRIDE OF ROOSEVELT"! Check the H.S. Website

Mr. Rich Deniston - Asst. Director, Elementary Music Teacher Mr. Deniston received his B.S. degree at Ball State University
in 1998. He has taught elementary music at Meadowlawn Elementary and
Oaklawn Elementary and has assisted the bands since 2001. Mr. Deniston
helps with "Circle the State with Song"; established an elementary choirs;
accompanies on piano for students; and assists with the H.S. marching
program. He is a member of MENC, IMEA, Sinfonia, and of course the "THE
PRIDE OF ROOSEVELT" and "THE SPIRIT OF TWIN LAKES"! This site is going to run for my band program so that parents and students can track the lastest information. Announcements - A drop down menu will be added to access each month separetly. Calendar - Will have the events of the year and I hope to add sound clips and video's of the concerts or class projects as they become available. Handbook - This will be a simply version of the band handbook that I give to students at the beginning of the year. Permission Slips - I want to add forms that parents will need to sign using adobe. Biography - I have added pictures and sound clips about the RMS bands. Student success - I hope to add pictures and information about what successed the students have attained. Pictures for each grade - I want to do a photobook for each class. I don't have very many pictures right now... Homework - Just be a table for each grade with homework assignments included. Staff - Info on the staff and pictures.... very simple.
