RIJIT was formed in mid-August 2002 by Aaron(vocals) and Matt(guitar). The two wanted to form a metal-core band with a unique twist to it. They recruited Jay(bass) to their ranks and then found Brian(drums). A month or two later a second guitarist was added and after one show was thrown out of RIJIT on account of him being a little bitch. Playing as a four piece the band has played many shows and has slowly but surely made a name for themselves on the CT local scene. Recently, a new second guitarist has been added to fill the dusty shoes of the old coke head. His name is Brandon. So RIJIT plans to continue to play shows and write music with hopes of someday making a respectable name for themselves in today's hardcore/metal scene.
