QUORNDON PIPE BAND (ROYAL BRITISH LEGION) BAGPIPE BAND FETE WEDDING LEICESTERSHIRE MIDLANDS ENGLAND CHURCH PARADE
The Quorn Royal British Legion pipe band was formed in January 2002 and in February 2005 was re-named the Leicestershire and Rutland County Royal british legion Pipe Band.
The band wears the ancient Hunting Macrae tartan as you can see from the 'wallpaper' on this web site.

2 of the pipers have been Pipe Majors in their own right and the vast majority of the members have previously played with (grade 4) competition pipe bands.
There are several 'learner' members in the band (mainly on drums) but there are still places available for both pipers and drummers.

The band meets on Monday evenings at the Quorn village hall.

The band is presently performing locally at parades, fetes, concerts etc. and is preparing to enter competitions in the 2005 season.
