Peter Allen was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on August 1, 1987. Always dreaming of becoming a musician, he attempted to learn the drums at a music camp that his grandmother sent him to. When he returned home after camp and wanted to purchase a set to practice at home, he was practically laughed at by building officials, family members, and neighbors alike. All he heard was "It's too loud," or "The neighbors will complain." he then went to a small charter school for half of fourth grade and learned (mostly on his own) how to play the violin. With "ooh's" and "aah's" coming from all directions, he realized he didn't want to be known for playing an instrument that requires 40 counterparts (a symphony) to make it sound good.  He sold the violin to a good friend for the exact price he paid for it. Then finally, after 2 years of waiting and begging, he got an Ibanez RG 120 for Christmas of 2000. He barely played it because he had so little time to practice. Then, during summer, having 12 extra hours per day to practice, he began to teach himself easy songs by his favorite bands. He has since taught himself about 150 songs, and written over 40 of his own.

He has modified his guitar with two Seymour Duncan Humbuckers (Invader - Bridge; '59 - Neck), and a split-coil switch for the bridge and neck positions. He uses D'Addario XL .010-.046 strings and Jim Dunlop Big Stubby 3.0 mm jazz picks.
