March 9 2002…
That went on until 6 in the morning. We went to check out if there were
people in front of the hotel. And there were a group of girls who stayed there all night! Crazy! And
cold! We went to find a bar or anything where we could go to the bathroom. We found a bakery.
After that we went back to the hotel and waited outside. Inge made a phonecall to ask if maybe
we could already check in, cos it was freezing cold outside! The man said that we could check in
early and it was okay for us to stay in the lobby. So by noon we went inside with our suitcases.
The girl at the desk told us it wasn't okay for us to stay. We could give our luggage and then wait
outside but not in the lobby. So we did and went outside… We waited for a long time. It got busier
and busier. More and more people came to wait and see if there's anything to see at all!
After a while, the artists started to come out the hotel, first all the unknown German artists. We
were like "what…? who?" Very funny. There were some German people behind us, they were
cursing on us and not knowing we could understand all that they were saying. They were
nagging about my hair being in their faces all the time. Instead of asking me to put my hair
up, they kept nagging in German. And that is why I started waving my hair in their faces on
purpose. *lol* 2.30pm we were tired of waiting outside. SO we went oinside. The Germans were
still going crazy over us. I pushed myself back and they were like saying stuff to me and I was
like "fucking Germans…! …… oops…" Accidentally. Well, we walked inside and you should've seen
all those faces! If jealousy would kill, we'd be way dead by now! We went inside to check in. No
O-Town as of now…
Later we went outside and then went back in. We went into the elevator. To our room on the 4th floor.
The elevator stopped on 1st floor, doors opened and who entered… ASHLEY! For one second I was like
"I know this kid…" and then it hit me "ASH!!!" He was like "hello" and we were almost stumbling "hi!"
lol We asked if he remembered us. He said "yeah, you all look kinda familiar!" Then we said "yeh" And
he looked at Inge and said "oh, of course I remember you!" We asked where he was going and he was like
"I'm gonna get ready for the Bravo Supershow." And he got out on the 3rd floor. He said "see you guys
later". Once the doors closed, we went totally NUTS! We went up to our room and got our stuff and went
back to the 3rd floor. We waited there. But then my 2 friends said "isn't it stupid if we waited here?" And
they went to hide behind a plant themselves… I was like "uhm…duh…?"
And then I heard Ashley's voice. He was talking to 2 girls. We came around the corner (that
must have looked pretty ridiculous!). We got our things signed, and I was still a little in shock!
We went down with the elevator with him, to the 1st floor and there were the other boys giving
interviews. Ashley had to sign something for Top Of The Pops. And later on, Erik was called to
sign it too. Inge Got up to Ashley to give him a lil present she bought for him. It was a keychain that said " I need a Hug" Ashley looked into the camera and was like "awww she needs a hug" He turned to Inge again and said come here girl. so sweet.I had my picture taken with Erik. Gosh, I noticed his good mood! He was so extremely
happy => dunno why! He was the sweetest! While taking the picture (which seemed hours!) he
was gently rubbing my back with his hand, I was like MELTING on the spot! Jacob was down the
hall looking stoned!!! He had some cap on and seemed like he was stoned and acting weird… I was
like "ok I'll leave him alone!" I saw Erik doing some funky dance moves in the hall, very sexy. I
looked around the corner and saw Dan watching him securely. Then later I asked Erik if I could
get a hug and he said "sure" and gave me a big hug and I said "I love you so much!" and he was
like "awww… thank you!" We went down and in the lobby we talked to Ashley. We hugged and
then Trevor said "Erik, Ash, come on we have to go!" So they went… We couldn't go outside with
them, through the same door, which I found pretty stupid! But okay…
In the meanwhile, we heard that there was no way you could get through at the Supershow as
everything was shielded. So we stayed in Cologne. Wandered around in the city and did nothing
actually…
Back to the hotel. We waited in the bar. Cos it could be anytime for the boys to arrive. It was 9:30pm
when Ashley arrived, on his own (well with their personal bodyguard, Mike). It was at the elevator
where I saw that his hand was in bandage. I asked him "what happened to your hand?" and he said "I
fell onstage…" I felt really sorry for that poor guy! I gave him my letter and he said "thanks" Upstairs
he wasn't really able to sign anything, you could see he was in pain! His back hurt too. He said "I'll be
down in a minute!" and he walked to his room! AW poor kid!
We went down again and waited for the other boys. They arrived a little later. On the 3rd floor they
signed and took pix. Really nice. I gave Trevor & Erik my letter. I asked Trevor "did you read my letter
that I gave you last week?" And he actually remembered and said "yeah I did! It was very inspsiring!"
AWW>… Erik said "you guys know where we're staying, but please don't tell any other fans okay?"
And of course we wouldn't!
