The month of February is
called the heart month, and nowadays it is celebrated beyond the context of
heart equals to love but with awareness campaign. This considering that the
incidence of heart disease and other illness related to this condition is very
high and affects many people, is the focus of February celebration.
The
increase in the incidence of heart disease is brought about by so many factors,
including poor lifestyle, stress, pollution, and poor diet. In our daily lives,
these factors, which cause heart ailments are now unavoidable, for we have to
cope with the fast pace of life in the city dwelling, said Dr. Sonny A, Viloria,
a medical practitioner who had a training on natural medicine in Australia.
Dr.
Viloria, a medical doctor who had his training on natural medicine from
Australia, will conduct a series of lectures on “Natural Healing of the
Heart”. He is currently the director of Philippine Woman’s University Center
for Traditional and Alternative Health Care, and regular host for the Usapang
Medikal ng Tropang Pinoy TV Program on Sundays.
In
the lecture, Viloria will teach how to identify the risk factors in developing
heart disease and how to prevent complications so as not to take medications for
the rest of one’s life through proper cleansing, diet and lifestyle.
He
will also discuss how to strengthen the heart and not acquire heart disease, and
if so afflicted already how to reverse the condition and stay healthy, all using
only the most natural method.
