This morning we went again in St. Martin. My C.I. assigned me in my patient in solo, but now I can stand on my own. My patient’s named Lauriano, Marites 31 yrs old. Then I read her chart, she’d gave birth. So I went to her room and took her vital signs. Everything is normal, she has an IV and with foley catheter attached with urine bag. The IV is about to consumed in few minutes. I need to change it up. My C.I. taught me how to change/ hooked the dextrose. First, the consumed dextrose changed to D5NM1L, then I compute for the time for its to be regulate and how many drops per min. so my C.I. changed it up and I adjust the drop to it’s proper drops per minute. That was the big event for the day.

I learned another thing again from my C.I. “thank u very much”. I liked to learn a thing in actual situation not in reading or in something else, b’coz I cant figure it out much. That’s why I like being in the area. I wish someday of our duty, I want to inject my patient! I believe I can do that now.
