The Nettleton High School Band is starting off well this year. We received the following ratings at Aberdeen Contest: Drum Major:2, Drumline:2, Color Guard:1, and Band:1,2,1...OVERALL 1. We are preparing for Tupelo Contest this week. The marching show for the 2004-2005 year is a Gospel show including: The Great Adventure, Total Praise, and Oh Happy Day.

This week has been just a normal week. The weather is getting cooler. Tupelo Contest has been moved to tomorrow (October 16, 2004) due to last weekend being very rainy.

We've all participated in concert tryouts and as soon as possible I promise I will get the results. Jared Carter scored the highest score (177) in the band. Emily Stone was the next highest (171).
