Welcome to the site of My Firend Misery, Albany's next big metal/metalcore band. MFM first originated in early summer of 2004 when vocalist Matt Hattaway and bassist Taylor Hartley left a previous band (Bitter Sweet Doom Child) due to "Inner Turmoil" between a female vocalist and other guitar player. Soon after, drummer Brandon Bryan joined the group but was departed recently due to falling grades and an obstinate mother. Now, with Chucky Tubbs on guitar and another guitarist on the way, My Friend Misery uses their unique style and differing preferences in music to pull something together that is far from being call Noise.
