so two weeks and over 3200 miles later, we're back home. big thanks to nadia kent, clitorectomy and the mutilators, lauren bruniges and her friend carlotta, everyone that listened to us in santa barbara, silvi from belly boat, megamoog and everyone that listened in san francisco, carsten/mike from squid vs. shark, lia in seattle, michael trew & joe stormer, and everyone else who listened or helped us out along the way. really, thanks everyone for everything, it was really wonderful.

p.s. the picture was supposedly published in the humboldt county newspaper. we really hope they put it in.

p.s.s. look out for new weird stuff from josh and martin.

so i'm mailing oh! map records a bunch of CDs, so hopefully they will be available on the internet in a couple of weeks...

but also, there are two other (and possibly quicker) ways of purchasing a copy:
1) ask martin or josh for a cd
2) email lonesomearchitects@gmail.com , give us your address, and say that you want to buy a cd.

if you get us through email, we'll give you an address to send $10 to, and we'll mail you the cd.

THE NEW CD IS FINISHED!!!

somethings work the way you'd like, but most of the time, they don't really. but anyway, our new CD is finally finished, after perilous months of strumming and singing and banging on boxes/tambourines. it's called 15 songs of loss, love and longing. we decided to cut out two songs, because they just weren't working out. maybe for the next cd...

so for now, you can only get a copy from us in person, they cost $10, more or less.

it'll most probably be available through the oh map website later on, for those who are interested and can't get a hold of us...

17 songs of loss, love, and longing

so we've been diligently working on the new lonesome architects album, entitled "17 songs of loss, love and longing by the lonesome architects." it's got lots of oldies but goodies, along with at least 5 or 6 new songs that no one has ever heard before. ever. also, we're expecting contributions from our friend and fellow oh! mapper shelby sifers, and a couple other cool kids from school. that's the progress chart in the upper left hand corner. the colorful dots are hello kitty stickers... anyways, keep an eye out for the album, it should be finished around september/october time.

so it's official, we're signed to an indie label from canada, "oh! map records."

the lonesome architects march westward

so a new song has been completed, titled "breathe it down (choke it up)." i'd say it's different, or interesting. there's heavy distortion, and other fun stuff. keep your eyes/ears peeled for that one. in other news, there is none.
