I thought if I took a bite of this
I would be safe forever
Just one mouthful of sinful bliss
I wouldn’t be hurt again ever
That taste was sweet
But didn’t stay long
Don’t eat this treat
I was wrong
The poison splashes inside of me
What have I done?
How could this be?
With this treat I have not won
I was captured by its power
The smell is sweet
but the taste is now sour
I drip sweat from the heat
Blood from the pain
Knives stabbing me
Infection rushes my veins
Needles pricking, I can’t see
My breath is heavy from the loss
I had much pleasure
But at what cost?
A sinful measure
I will die for what I’ve done
But my sweet sin,
It will live on.
