Could the ocean somehow steal her eye?
Could those letters reach the shores of her mind?
And I’m afraid afraid she stole my heart
I can’t seem to place it
Can’t seem to erase those times
I stand here looking back
A fallen angel in this stranger’s town
I stand here looking on
Forgot the days pursuit for its you that I long
Everything about everything around everything
I remember when she slipped my sight
All those choices smoked the distant light
I fell to circles swimming in the breeze
Evicted my reason to do what I please
I still find us together in bits and pieces
scribbles and scratches
And I can’t seem to erase those times
I stand here looking back
A fallen angel in this stranger’s town
I stand here looking on
Forgot the days pursuit for its you that I long
Everything about everything around everything
I watch clouds blanket the setting sun
And the waves drown the daily hum
Oh could I grate one more laugh
Oh could I garner a last smile
Yes I believe the future belongs to us
I can’t erase a month the years have past
I stand here looking back
A fallen angel in this stranger’s town
I stand here looking on
Forgot the days pursuit for its you that I long
Everything about everything around everything
Lately Troubled
My favorite song on the radio
As life melts in the summer sun
And I’m just wondering what tomorrow holds
Will I see the California sun?
Will I be forever on the run?
There’s a one-way street of my lonely town
Where the wind blows your name forever
Where my souls your piece of clay
Where sunshine steals the gray
And If I seem lately troubled
It’s only because you’re yet to be found
And before my time slips away away
Could I lose my trouble in you?
I’m trying to find you voice in this world
I’m just trying to fight through the noise of this world
I want to be with you lets live tonight
I’ll touch your spirit the dustless light
And If I seem lately troubled
It’s only because yet to be found
And before my time slips away
Could I lose my trouble in you?
Though the jester turned my heart to stone
You can break the chains that keep me alone
From a distance I can taste our sweet memory
Restive I know you’re the one for me
And If I seem lately troubled
It’s only because you’re yet to be found
And before my time slips away
Could I lose my trouble in you?
And If I seem lately troubled
It’s only because you’re yet to be found
And before my time slips away
Could I lose my trouble in you?
Would I lose my trouble in you?
Room 16
It happens only once in a life time
A blanket of stars I’ll never forget
Like pieces of heaven falling from the sky
the tears of someone unable to die
A group of friends sit around the light
Last time together for many a night
Spread like the sand across the shore
not yet knowing what their lives stood for
but that’s the wish I wished right then
that after that night we’d stand as men
chorus
So come on and share your smiles with me
As we stumble past the broken signs
We’ll laugh until it stays away
And leave no thoughts to reconcile
Flashes of brilliance fly past my eyes
To Light the thoughts that surround
The cool air of late evenings shadow sighs
Time to dream time to revel in delight
chorus
So come on and share your smiles with me
As we stumble past the broken signs
We’ll laugh until it stays away
And leave no thoughts to reconcile
On the beach running blindly towards the dawn
I fell back to the sand and all my thoughts were swept away
Solo section
chorus
So come on and share your smiles with me
As we stumble past the broken signs
We’ll laugh until it stays away
And leave no thoughts to reconcile
Good Job
As life staggers down the road I wondered
When we could become the moment and love
Though the stars shine so brightly from the heavens
I know you'll be the sun that somehow fills the sky
And until that day I'll hold on hold on
It'll be my friends and memories
And it will be a love of my life
Yeah it'll be a heart full of youth
And my friends my friends and memories
Will you recall why hope defiantly lingers while I wonder
Why it is I deserve any love at all
Take me away won't you please steal me away
You'll be my remembrance of those lullabies
And until that day I'll hold on hold on
It'll be my friends and memories
And it will be a love of my life
Yeah it'll be a heart full of youth
And my friends my friends and memories
As life staggers on down the road I want you to remind me
Life's not lost but slowly gained
Hope me to ungleaned futures and guard my heart
Give me what I need all and all and always
It'll be my friends and memories
And it will be a love of my life
Yeah it'll be a heart full of youth
And my friends my friends and memories
Landings Lost
When sun light first fell
In that dim lit sanctuary
I could tell in these days
We’d find life less ordinary
I could see it in my soul felt prayer before bed
or that song dancing just dancing through my head
Yeah I’d trade my life now to spring from
these words into your arms and into your heart
Even when our landings lost I still feel close to you
You wrote me a poem once
Said these days weren’t just dreams in our minds
Said if “we” could stay together you and I would never have never no the other would have never been
There’s a place behind my eyes where you’ll always reside
If you ask me again I’d say it’s always been somewhere inside
behind my eyes you’ll always reside
always been there somewhere inside

It was mine for a moment but moments slip away
It was mine for a minute but minutes never stay
Son of Dust you know this to be true
Son of dust what will it take to get through….through to you
