Chapter 2: The Call

After they were done shopping, the girls went back to Kirstin's house to have a sleep over and the guys went to Greg's to sleep over.
Chris- I can't stop thinking about Kirstin.
Greg- Well I can't stop thinking about Laura.
Matt- We should call them. You go first Jesse.
Jesse- Why me?
Matt- Because you're the youngest and I said so. Now call Kristi.
Jesse- Fine! I will!
Jesse picked up the phone and dialed Kristi's number. He said a few words and hung up.
Frankie- Well, what happened? Jesse- She's not home. She's sleeping over Kirstin's.
Frankie- Well I'm calling Miranda.
Frankie dialed Miranda and asked her mom if she was home. He said thank you and hung up.
Greg- Why'd ya hang up?
Frankie- Because she is not home. She is also sleeping over Kirstin's.
Chris- I think they all are.
Matt- Me too.
Chris- I'm gonna call Kirstin.
Meanwhile at Kirstin's, the girls are sitting at the kitchen table talking about the guys.
Miranda- I wonder why they haven't called yet. Maybe my mom didn't tell Frankie where I am!
Maxine- Don't worry. I told my mom that if Matt calls, tell him that we are all at Kirstin's.
Laura. I'm really bored.
The girls tried to think of something to do when Maxine's face lit up.
Maxine- Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?
Kirstin- You mean, you want popcorn too?
Maxine- Um no blondie. I was thinking more along the lines of calling the guys.
Kirstin- Oh.
Kristi- I wanted popcorn too.
Laura- OMG! Will somebody shut the 2 blondes up?
They all laughed. Maxine was about to pick up the phone when it rang. Kirstin picked it up.
Kirstin- Hello?
Chris- Hi this is Chris. Is Kirstin there?
Kirstin- Hey. It's me.
Chris- Hey Babe. What's up?
Kirstin- Nothin you?
Chris-Nothin.
Kirstin- Where are you?
Chris- I'm at Greg's. Me and the guys are sleeping over.
Kirstin- Sounds cool. What are you doing.
Chris- Well besides talking and thinking about you and how hot you are, absolutely nothin.
Kirstin- Same here.
Laura- I wanna talk to Greg.
Kirstin- Laura wants to talk to Greg.
Chris- OK I'll talk to you after everyone else talks.
Kirstin- OK.
Chris handed the phone to Greg and Kirstin handed the phone to Laura.
Greg- Hey Sexy.
Laura- Hey what's up?
Greg- Nothin. Just thinking about how sexy you are.
Laura- Same with me.
Chris- Tell Laura to tell Kirstin that she's hot, sexy, sweet, and has a nice ass!
Greg- Chris wants me to tell you to tell Kirstin that she's hot, sexy, sweet, and has a nice ass.
Laura- OK hold on. Hey Kirstin!
Kirstin- What?
Laura- Chris told Greg to tell me to tell you that you're hot, sexy, sweet, and you have a nice ass.
Kirstin- Hehe. Tell him I said right back at him.
Laura- She says tell him right back at him.
Greg- Chris! She said right back at you!
Chris-SWEET!
Jesse- I wanna talk to Kristi.
Frankie- And I wanna talk to Miranda.
Matt- And I wanna talk to Maxine.
Greg- The guys wanna talk to the other girls. Put Kristi on because Jesse wants to talk to her. I'll talk to you later Sexy.
Laura- Bye Greg! Kristi! Jesse wants to talk to you!
She gave the phone to Kristi.
Kristi- Hello?
Jesse- Hey Sweetie.
Kristi- Hey! What ya doin?
Jesse- Talking to the hottest girl in the world. You?
Kristi- Talking to the hottest guy in the world.
Jesse- Is he hotter than me?
Kristi- It is you dumbass!
Jesse- Oh yeah. I sometimes forget how hot I am.
Frankie grabbed the phone from Jesse while he tried to get it back.
Frankie- Donde esta` su amiga Miranda?
Kristi- She's right here Frankie. Let me just say good-bye to Jesse.
Frankie gave the phone back to Jesse.
Kristi- Frankie and Miranda wanna talk. I'll talk to you later Hottie.
Jesse- Good night Sweetie.
Frankie took the phone back.
Miranda- Hello?
Frankie- Hey Baby! How are you?
Miranda- I'm OK. You?
Frankie- Great now that I'm talking to you. You're just OK?
Miranda- Yeah.
Frankie- What's the matter?
Miranda- I miss you.
Frankie- Aw Baby. I miss you too. We'll hang out real soon. I promise you.
Miranda- OK. I can't wait.
Frankie- Me either.
Matt- Give me the damn phone Frankie!
Frankie- Matt wants to talk to Maxine. I'll talk to you later Baby.
Miranda- Buh-byez. Here Maxine. Matt wants to talk to you.
Maxine took the phone from Miranda.
Maxine- Hello?
Matt- Hey Cutie.
Maxine- Hey.
Matt- What are you doing?
Maxine- Sitting in Kirstin's kitchen. You?
Matt- Sitting on Greg's bed. I've been waiting to talk to you all night.
Maxine- Same here with you. I really like you.
Matt- I really like you too. WHAT GREG!
Greg- Ask the girls if they wanna go see Scary Movie 2 tomorrow night at 7:45 at Farmingdale.
Matt- Do you girls wanna go see Scary Movie 2 with us tomorrow night at 7:45 at Farmingdale?
Maxine- I gotta ask. Do you guys wanna see Scary Movie 2 tomorrow night at 7:45 at Farmingdal with the guys?
The girls- YEAH!
Maxine- We say yeah.
Matt- And we say all right!
Kirstin- I wanna talk to Chris!
Maxine- You already did!
Kirstin- I wasn't done!
Maxine- Matt, put Chris on. Kirstin wants to talk to him again.
Matt- OK Cutie. Sweet dreams. I'll see you tomorrow night.
Maxine- Bye.
Chris took the phone.
Chris- Hey Babe.
Kirstin- What's with the Babe?
Chris- It's my pet name for you.
Kirstin- I like that. Babe. Sounds cool.
Chris- It was gonna be Sexy but Greg took that.
Kirstin- I like Babe better. What are the other pet names?
Chris- Well Frankie's for Miranda's is Baby, Jesse's for Kristi is Sweetie, Matt's for Maxine is Cutie, and Greg's for Laura is Sexy.
Kirstin- Well we have to make up some for you guys so I gotta go.
Chris- Bye Babe. I'll be dreamin about ya.
They hung up.
Kirstin- We gotta make pet names for the guys.
Laura- OK! I'm gonna call Greg Gorgeous. Gorgeous Greg! I crack myself up!
Kirstin- You're the only person you crack up. Chris is going to be Honey.
Kristi- Jesse is Hottie.
Miranda- Frankie is Sweetheart.
Maxine- I'm calling Matt Sweetie Pie.
They all laughed and went upstairs to sleep. They all dreamed about what the next night was gonna be like.
