Illuminati is a band based in Japan. More specifically, in Kanagawa and Tokyo. They have been together for about 2 years and have come together to play great music for, firstly their fans, and secondly, those who are to become fans. After hearing them in a live performance, you can't help but to like them. There are 4 members in the band. 2 lead guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. Both lead guitarists perform vocals as well.

A Long Overdue Update. February 5th, 2002
First off, Happy New Year to everyone out there. Secondly, yes, the webmaster is back in Japan to give you the pleasure you need to survive. The concert on February 2nd was incredible. There was so much energy and Illuminati played 2 brand new songs that made the crowd go wild. There are new pictures for you to enjoy and we have a small update for the concert schedule.
Illuminati will be having a Tokyo Decadence show every odd numbered month. That means March, May, July, September, and November. It will take place on the 3rd Sunday of those months. So, if you don't have a calendar handy, here are the days: March 17th, May 19th, July 21st, September 15th, and November 17th. Please plan ahead and join us for some great musical madness.
Now the sad news. The February 2nd concert was the last time our webmaster will see the boys in Japan for a while. Yes, his vacation here in Japan is almost done and he'll be heading home. The next update will be done by a new webmaster and the details are being worked out so please come back again. Until next time, "The most precious thing we have is the ability to choose what to do right now."
Update and Information. November 28th, 2001
The concert on Friday, November 23rd was a lot of fun. Even though it wasn't our hosted gig, we still brought out a good crowd and gave a great performance. We also had a few surprises for the fans as we introduced a new song and added a new guitar intro for Chains.
Some sad news. The webmaster will be leaving Japan to return to America. We will miss him and wish him the best. If you are interested or know someone who is interested in becoming the webmaster and who also has a digital camera, please send e-mail here. Thanks.
Finally, next year is looking great already. We'll have some concert dates up for you soon so please come back to check from time to time.
News and CD Release. October 16th, 2001
If you didn't come to the concert on October 14th at F.A.D. Yokohama, you missed out on the biggest Illuminati event of this year. What a shame for you. If you were there, you know what a fantastic event it turned out to be. Thanks to all of you who came out!! We sold about 45 CDs and the release party was a smashing success. We even had an encore. Our first and definitely not our last. We love you guys!!!!
Tokyo Decadence III was hosted by us. We had a great time. A total of 4 bands, including Illuminati, participated. The first to play was Trans Mart. They played very well and they have some smooth bass guitar. Second was Boring Man who had their lead guitarist back. They also rocked hard and they have a really nice rythym. Third was The Pestmen who have solid sounds with nice vocals. We were last and wrapped up a great start with an incredible finish.
