This is for anyone who checks periodically and never finds anything new here: Thank you for being a fan and even being curious as to whats going on. It's highly appreciated. We appreciate anyone who ever cared and/or liked our music. I have sad news: Calston is gone. First of all, I am the singer, Anthony, and I ran this site. We all know that Mike left the band in pursuit of a military career. He is currently in the army. He's doing great and we wish him the best of luck continually. We continued to practice and looked for a bassist. We got a few in and out, but they lacked responsibility dependability. So we continued to play on and on, in search of what we were missing. We all became very very busy. Jobs, college, bills, life...basically it came to make things a living hell for us music-wise. We eventually talked and made more tiume to practice. We started making really good stuff...we were at our best. Greg started to have dependability issues and started not showing up at practice. We talked about it over and over amongst ourselves (and the one to blame) and decided to kick Greg out. It was different when we werent in the band...Greg is still all of our friend and whatnot, but it's a totally different thing being in a band together. It was Joe, Gary and I. Baically, this started to go to our heads and we became more and more hopeless. There were afew practices where we made up some REALLY good stuff...but we lacked bass and a second guitar. It somehow sounded so plain! We ween't practicing. When we did, it was more like just hanging our, but then just having some musical fun in-between.I finally broke out and decided to join another band. It all started at a guy named Steve Pinedas party. It was the Mister Highway reunion. I forgot how much I loved their music. It was so witty, and completely non trendy. I remember back in the day prior to them becoming a band I was going to be the lead singer, but styles clashed, etc etc etc. Over time I became more musically-varied, so by the time it was too late, I loved all kinds of music. Before, it was all "blink 182, blink 182, blink 182!!!" I was at the reunion show, and I decided to give it a shot. Alex (Mister Highway lead singer and guitarist) and I had been hanging out a lot prior to the show. I made my choice and then told Gary a few days later (when he got back from a trip) he said he knew it would come. So Calston is over as of now. I am currently singing in Mister Highway. We have shows scheduled, but this isn't the place for promoting Mister Highway. Gary has wanted to and is working on solo music himself, and if Joe wants to jam with Gary still, then that's what they'll do. It'll be solo work with some drums in it...look out for it, it should be good stuff. I'll let you know whats happening in the future with all of that. Again, thanks to anyone who ever went to our shows...anyone who liked our music, and anyone who cared. I'm so sorry if we dissapointed you, and I know we've said we'd never make these mistakes...but that was just another mistake, I guess. We will never not make a mistake. It would simply be unhuman. Thanks again, and goodbye!
