Home School Holiday Recording Project
The Coon Rapids and Burnsville Home School Bands are currently involved in a Christmas recording project. Depending on student level, this can include the following:
1. Performing familiar Christmas tunes to a recording prepared by the instructor.
2. Multi-tracking a duet, trio, or quartet so that the end result is an ensemble played by
one student.
THE MUSIC:
Students may select 2 or 3 titles form the lists below to make their recordings.

CONCERT BAND:
Amazing Grace
Auld Lang Syne
Dance of The Sugar Plumb Fairies
Deck The Halls
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
What Child Is This?
(Multi-Tracked Ensembles as Chosen by instructor and student)
The Resulting Recordings will be burned to CD in Wave and MP3 format.
LABELS:
Students have the option of designing their own CD label and have been given a blank form to draw their design. A PDF version that you can print can be found here. (Please be patient as it may take some time to load.)
Be sure that you leave space in your design so that I can add the song titles and other information. A light color design is best for this. I have created a simple example that you can see below.
