COON RAPIDS BAND ASSIGNMENT (5/6/03)


To all Coon Rapids Home School Band Students:

Here is the line up for our Spring Concert. All Lesson materials must be completed before the concert so that I can distribute ribbon awards.

For those of you working at the Medalist level and above who still have written materials to complete, there are resources should be of help.

You will find notation exercises as well as links to sites with music dictionaries, music history pages, and music theory tutors.

Any written work can be pasted into an e-mail program and sent to me at the e-mail address below. If you have materials that require music notation and you can use the free Finale NotePad program, feel free to send me a NotePad file as an attachment. You will find links to the Finale download page at the bottom of my Practice Test Page.

Staff paper can be found on the same page or you can follow this link. The document is in pdf format that you can print. with the free Acrobat Reader software.

Spring Concert

Schedule:

Tuesday May 13, 2003
All Students are to arrive and be ready to play at 6:00 P.M.
The concert begins at 7:00 P.M.

Concert Attire:

Students will wear concert clothing. Boys should wear a white shirt and
black pants. Girls should wear a white blouse and black skirt. Please do not
wear tennis shoes.
