Fiction Plane played a great homecoming gig at King's Head on Sept 3rd for well over 250 people, including family and friends. Joe has now put out a plea for fans to call/email XFM Radio in London to request airplay for Fiction Plane! Let's all get behind the band and show our support by letting XFM Radio know how much we want to hear FP on the radio!

Label Change
Geffen Records just took over the band's current label, MCA Records. Geffen execs attended a showcase to decide whether or not to keep FP on the new label. According to Joe ( on the official FP site) the band was kept in the dark about the showcase so they wouldn't get nervous! Hey, no worries, the band was great as usual and is now signed with Geffen Records . Cool that Nirvana is also on Geffen!!
Now, when is that single gonna be released????

Fiction Plane at Riverfest (5/24/03) - review
FP at the Hatch Shell ~ Boston 5/24
The last time I saw FP was during their Santa's BF incarnation- and who knew they could get even better than they were back then!
The band took the stage at the Hatch Shell in Boston on Saturday to open Riverfest, a radio sponsored outdoor concert which also featured the likes of Rhett Miller and Ben Folds.
They started out high energy with "Everything will Never Be OK", followed by "Cigarette". There was a moderate sized crowd despite the threat of rain...

When my wife and I first got to The Music Box I was worried I wouldn’t get to meet Fiction Plane or that I might have a hard time getting my cd signed. My worries were completely misplaced.
