Jonathan Howsman Davis was born January 18th in 1971. His parents divorced when he was 3. Jonathan suffered from really bad asthma from the age of 1 to 10. Many times his survival was doubtful.When he was eight years old his mother gave birth to his half brother named Mark 'Markie' Chavez Jr who is the frontman for the kickass band Adema. He also has two sisters Alyssa and Amanda. When Jonathan was 18,he moved out at the request of his stepmother, who his father married when he was 12. Jonathan graduated high school,moved to San Francisco and enrolled himself in The San Francisco School of Mortuary Science. Shortly after he graduating from high school,his dad and stepmother divorced. Rick went on to marry a woman named Lillie who is very adored and well recieved in the family. While in college,he was in a band called SeXart. He co-wrote 'Blind' with Ryan Shuck,who is now with Orgy. They recorded a song that made it onto the cd 'Cultivation 92'. In 1991,when he was 20 yrs old,he met Renee Perez who he later married and divorced. A year after meeting Renee, Munky and Head discovered Jonathan singing in a bar with his band SeXart. They asked Jonathan to sing for their band Creep. Jonathan then sought out the advice of a pyschic who advised him to join. So in 1992 he joined and came up with the name Korn. As the old phrase goes...the rest is history.
