Chapter 1:
"You dork! Stop it now!"Kelly screamed trying to get Jc to stop tickling her. "Oh yeah, What are you going to do about it?" Jc asked with a grin. He knew she wouldn't do a single thing about it, which made him smile to himself.."I...I..I.." "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue? Or you just can't think of a good comeback?" "Joshua Scott! I'll have you know, I have tons of comebacks for you, but my mom always taught me to only say something when I have something good..." "Yeah, If only she knew you" Jc laughed. Kelly gave him an evil glare. He knew she couldn't stay made at him for a long time. After all she was his best-friend, and he was hers. They've been best-friends for as long as they could remember. Despite the age gap they had...Jc was only a 5 years older than her, but they still had a great relationship. They were more like brother and sister then friends. Their parents always kept them together, so they had no choice but to be good friends. But nobody complained. Well at least to Jc and Kelly's faces...Everyone else thought they should be boyfriend and girlfriend, but Jc and Kelly insisted that they're best-friends, nothing more, nothing less, ever! Which secretly they knew their feelings for eachother were increasing with age. Kelly and Jc shared a huge house with the guys of Nsync and Wade. Their girlfriends were with them also, however, Justin, didn't yet have himself a girlfriend. He just broke off a long time relationship, with a girl that cheated on him, He knew it was for the best, but he was still recovering.
"Joshua Scott Chasez...Stop your tickling me!"Kelly rolled over ontop of Jc... In walked Rachel..."Guys! get a room!!! my god!" Rachel said covering her eyes with her hand. "God, Rach, Don't have a heartattack, it's just a little friendly fun" Jc said. Kelly jumped up "Rachel thanks so much" She went running over to Rachel and Gave her a hug."You saved me from that...that..thing over there." Kelly said laughing as she pointed towards Jc. "Okay guys stop acting like 2 year olds!" Lance said coming into the room. "Oh lance, Have some fun in your life..You're gonna be old before you know it and then what are you going to do? You're going to look back on your life and say..I wish I woulda had fun like Jc and Kelly did..." Kelly said....then she looked at Jc who gave her the same look back as if they could read eachothers minds...They both pounced on Lance. "Say uncle!" Kelly screamed...She started twisting his arm. "Rachel! Help me! baby! Please!!!"Lance was pleading for Rachel, but she was just enjoying the entertainment, Jc and Kelly trying to get Lance to say uncle, and then when lance finally did say uncle, seeing Kelly pounce on Jc was entertaining. "Kelly what the Hell? Do you want to hurt me or something? You almost made me run into the tv!" Jc said, standing up and walkinga away from Kelly. "Fine, then, be that way." Kelly said getting up and storming to her room and slamming the door. "What did you do now Jc?" Justin said walking into the living room, with some Apple Jacks. "Uh..I just sorta yelled at her." "Oh smooth move there wise guy." Justin said sitting down and putting a repeat of "South Park" on.
(meanwhile in Kelly's room)
Kelly sat down on her bed and dialed Samantha
"Dammit, Sam, I know you're home, pick up the phone" Kelly was pacing around her room. Finally Samantha answered the phone.
"Hello?" Sam said in her usual perky voice. "Sam, can we talk? Do you have time?" Kelly said, her voice getting a little more trembling. "Kelly what's wrong?" Sam said sounding a bit concerned about her. Kelly was always there for Sam especially when she was upset about something or someone, Sam felt she needed to return the favor. "It's Jc." "What about him? You seem upset, tell me everything honey, I'm here to listen you know I'm always here for you." "I know that's why I called you. Ya see, we were fooling around in the living room, you know how we always have our tickling fights, well I almost made him run into the tv and he started to get angry,and he yelled at me...which I know he didn't mean...or at least I hope he didn't mean" "Aw honey, I'm sure he didn't mean it" "That's what I'm hoping, I mean, we're friends and everything, and I think thats all we'll ever be..I told you how..I sorta have a little thing for Jc right?" "yeah I remember..." "Well I don't think he wants to be more than just friends and it's going to hurt so much if I see him get a girlfriend, I don't know what to do, and I need someone to talk to all the time, And I don't really mean over the phone, Sam, can you please please please come live with us? I mean you could stay in my room I have an extra bed for when my friends are in town..please?" "Sure, I'll be there ASAP." They hung up and Kelly sat down on her bed.
She heard a knock at the door. "Who is it?" "Kel, It's me, can I come in?" Jc said. "Sure, It's a free country." Jc opened the door to see Kelly sitting on her bed, with the light out. He turned on her light. "Hey JC! It may be a free country but that's my light and if I want it on I'll turn it on not." "Sorry Kelly." Jc said. He went over to Kelly and sat on the bed next to her. "Kelly, I'm really sorry for yelling at you, you know I'd never mean to intentionally hurt your feelings."
Jc gave Kelly a hug and she gave into his apology, like she always did. "Whoa...guys..what are you doing?" Joey exclaimed, He was walking out of the bathroom, which was next to Kelly's room, and he was headed downstairs, when he spotted Kelly and Jc hugging. "What does it look like we're doing?" Kelly said. "Well..." "Wait...don't answer that Joey, Jc just apologized to me for blowing up at me." "Oh. Okay..whatever...you guys are so strange.." he said as he walked out.
"Well, Kelly do you want to go get a bite to eat?" "I can't. Samantha's coming to stay, and I have to wait for her, and then I have to help her unpack and everything..ya know." "Oh...okay whatever.. then how about we order some pizza? Everyone will love the idea." "Especially Joey." Kelly added with a laugh. She loved making fun of Joey, he was her big brother, always sticking up for her and protecting her when Jc wasn't around.They went downstairs, and ordered about 4 pizzas, one cheese, one sausage, one pepperoni, and one with everything on it. Within 15 minutes all their pizza was there and they were all sitting around the table, Kell was sitting between Jc and Justin. "You guys, you'd make such a cute couple, and besides everyone is going out with someone but yous...and well Justin." Riley said taking a chomp out of her cheese pizza."Ri, we're just friends...nothing more, nothing less...friends forever..." Jc said smiling. "Well I totally agree with what Riley's saying I mean...thinkg about it...You guys are always around eachother, you're always fooling around..what would be going out any different then what you're doing?" Yvette said.
She was right, They were very close for just friends...but thats because they've known eachother long. "Well it would just feel weird. I mean...he's like my brother, and well you wouldn't date your brother would you? Now would you guys stop harping on us! We're freaking friends...whats wrong with a guy and a girl just being friends?" Kelly said, she was getting a little upset. Everyone everyday harped on them, the wanted to see them become more than freinds, but it would just be really weird and if they broke up..how could they still remain friends? It would just be weird...There was a knock at the door. "I'll get it, i'm the closest to the door" Justin said as he got up and answered the door to find a girl with striaght blonde hair, and sparkling blue eyes, He got lost in them. "OMG SAM!!!" Kelly said and ran up to her and gave her a hug! "Girl I missed you so much!"Kelly said "Oh Kelly you too, Long time no see right?" They laughed It was normal for them. Being girls and all. Justin, still was standing there in awe staring at Sam. "Jc, be a gentleman and get Sam's bags while I show her to her room" Kelly said grabbing Sam's arm and leading her to her room" Justin, followed Sam with his eyes, her body swaying up the steps...he was in a trance. "Oh lookie here! Someone's in a day dream" Alex said jumping up and Smacking justin on the back. "Snap out of it" "huh? What?" Justin said...His mind was still on Sam, he hadn't been attracted to other girls in awhile, because he was still mourning the lose of his ex, but there was something about Sam, Something mysterious, that really made him think. "Yo, Justin, get your butt over here" Wade yelled, He couldn't stand people just standing there looking stupid..it drove him insane. "Okay okay wade just relax" Justin said walking over to his seat and continuted eating.
(Meanwhile in Kelly's room)
"I don't know what to do Sam, I'm so confused... I mean Jc means a lot to me, oh by the way he apologized for yelling at me when we got off the phone." "oh" "I'm just so glad you're here Sam, And you know what? Justin has the hots for you already!! And yous didn't even speak yet!!!" "I know, he was checking me out major! lol..." "Hello ladies!" in walked Jc carrying tons of bags and suitcases, followed by Joey with bags and suitcases as well. "Damn girl, how much stuff do you have?" Joey asked laughing "way too much" Sam said. She got up and went to unpacking, She had obviously a lot of work to do."Sam, you packed all of this in like 45 minutes? geez girl you pack fast!!" "I know!" "well we'll leave yous ladies alone" Jc said as He and Joey left the room. "well what do you think I should do Sam? Jc's a really great guy" "Obviously or you wouldn't have fallen so hard for him.But if you and him do date..and fall in love...Will your love last?" "I don't know and that's what I'm worried about" The girls finished unpacking Sam's stuff an hour later and it was 10:30, they figured they might as well go to bed, since basically everyone else already did, and they figured they could get up early, go for breakfast, just the two of them, and then shopping...which was always fun...just sort of a girls day out.
