There are a few things I feel I need to say. I want to start by saying that I DO LOVE YOU! It would be very nice to be able to have a relationship of some sort with you. But it is obvious that will never be. I can't be what you want/expect me to be. I feel I've tried everything within my control to have a good relationship with you.

I've spent most of my life being a people/parent pleaser, with no success. I've learned there is only one person in this world that I have to please and I look at her daily in the mirror. I told you when Dad was ill that I'm not the Jackie I use to be. I WILL NOT allow anyone to emotionally abuse me any longer. If that is all I am good for to someone I would just as soon not have them in my life.
