About The Author

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Born on January 6th 1980 in Singapore, she was the youngest in the family who possessed a great interest in writing novels, short stories and poems (mainly in Malay language). She’s commonly known by her fellow mates in the net by her pen name, Backstreet’s Gal and Malay readers who will recognised her as Lin Sayang.
English is not her first language although she took the same subject as the first language throughout those years in school, and she has to admit there’s still a long, long way to go to master the right virtue of using bombastic English words in her story (except that sometimes she sought help from the wise Thesaurus).
Your willingness is bypassing her tenses, vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure mistakes are highly appreciated. It takes more than just a patience for someone to finish reading each chapter and to actually like it to the end. No word could describe how special you are to her personally.
Backstreet’s Gal loves writing stories based on romance and in fact she collaborates with one of the greatest author, Mersey, in Dear Nick Carter and the sequel to it, Can I have You for Keeps. But she has no prejudice or whatsoever to any genre of the stories. She reads romance to slash, angst to adventure and in other words, she is in for any kinds of fiction.
She believes that to be a good author, one has to be flexible. Flexible in the sense that they can relate themselves to different kind of situations and characters in a story. Its like walking through a journey with full of fantasies, which needs no further introduction to one imagination.
Therefore, she would like to take this golden opportunity to thank each and everyone of you who willing to spare some of your precious time to visit her website. Your presence is highly appreciated. If there should be any mistakes in this writing, she apologises right from the bottom of her heart.
