Those mysterious arcs. I've often
passed them on Concord Rd but I never knew what they were for.
Now it has been brought to my attention that they once framed the entrance ways to the Mitchell Military
School. At last, here is more proof of where this school actually
existed! The items in red in the picture above, show those arcs on
Concord Rd. |

Here we have more evidence of the Mitchell
Military School. The first two pix show the two entrance ways to the
school. The third picture shows the Mitchell Pond that the boys
often used for skating. And the fourth picture now shows a new sign
- Mitchell Estates! That's where they now have condos. What a
change!
