Steve started drumming when he was eleven, after seeing Ringo Starr perform with the Beatles. Since then, he has participated in a number of groups, including the Grandfather Mountain Highlanders, and the Grade Four Bag Band. He joined the band when his friend Jack McDonald advertised that he was looking for a drummer. After coming in and audtioning for two minutes, Steve was quickly asked to join, and has been bashing the skins ever since.
