Ryan Holden
Guitarist

Biography

Ryan's musical journey began just a year and half ago when his parents bought him an electric guitar. He had been playing a used classical for a while, learning the acoustic parts of Metallica songs. Once he got his electric, though, all hell broke loose. The sounds of crunching riffs could be heard at all hours as Ryan pounded on his six string, trying to master the speed and skill shown by the likes of Dave Mustaine and James Hetfield. The spring of 2002 showed Ryan paired up with Jack McDonald and coming up with his own riffs instead of copying those of his heroes. That same summer in Connecticutt found Ryan practicing for upwards of six hours a day, showing a marked improvement upon his return to Greensboro.
