Jack McDonald

Vocalist

Biography

Jack McDonald has always been the performing type. Like Suzie Pfaff, he has been acting for a long time, starting with school plays in elementary school and moving on to city Children's Theatre in seventh and eigth grade. Jack began taking piano lessons at the age of seven, and so has had a fair amount of musical experiences. In tenth grade he began singing with the Silver Madrigals, a vocal group at Grimsley high school. He would find this to be a mistake in later years. Jack made several revelatory CD purchases when he was fourteen, as well as deciding to try out for Madrigals, among them The Beatles' White Album, and Revolver, as well as Nirvana's "instant classic" Nevermind (which he later concluded was somewhat over-rated, but still great). He then began to get seriously into music, and later that year began funneling his angst into lyrics. He never thought he would use them for anything until he decided to write some songs with his buddy Ryan Holden one day. And so the band was formed
