Pennywise - Virtua Band

Bad Religion_Jpn with PENNYWISE!!!
Diamond Hall, Nagoya, Japan; april, 28, 2000

Our Virtua Band member Bad Religion_Jpn was there! He wasn´t expecting what would happen that day but fun, stage dives and a great gig! In the final he went up on the stage to sing the famous "Bro Hymn" chorus along with the band. The band 98 Mute was there too and became another victim of Bad´s camera. Maybe some of his pictures will be on the official 98 Mute web site!

Back to Pennywise, the set list was: "Fight Til You Die", "Can´t Believe It", "Time To Burn", "Rules", "Homesick", "My Own Country", "Land Down Under", "Victim Of Reality", "Every Single Day", "Society", "Straight Ahead", "Same Old Story", "You´ll Never Make It"/"Stand By Me", "Wouldn´t Be Nice", "American Dream", "Perfect People", "Alien" and "Bro Hymn". In the background a large picture of Jason gave a shiver in every people who miss him.
Fletcher: "I LOVE ASAHI!!!"

In the middle of the show Jim offered a Budweiser to the crowd: "I love Bud!" then Fletcher quickly answered: "FUCK YOU BUDWEISER, I LOVE ASAHI(a japanese beer)!!!". In other moment he shouted after a big belch: "I LOVE JAPANESE FISH!!!"
Byron: Really cool guy!!!

Our Bad came along with Pennywise to the backstage where he felt like home! The place was like: conversations, fun, Fletcher craziness, Randy jokes, tons of japanese food and beer and camera flashes! Bad talk more with Byron and of course told him about Brazil!

Fletcher said he´s Rickson Gracie´s friend(Rickson is a famous brazilian sport fighter) but no one knows when they´re going to came to this country. One Pennywise producer showed to Bad some of the CDs they listen to along the tour and there you can find brazilian stuff like Carlinhos Brown, Timbalada and Chico Science e Nação Zumbi.

They ate and drank a lot of japanese stuff: "One more asahi please!"
