and the pathway to true life has been revealed by a bloke called Jesus.

A book full of truths which have been revealed to us by God.
The what? You're a bit behind the times if you haven't read the bible. It's been a best seller for a long time now...
As Human's we lust after Earthly or Fleshly things. We think it will brings us happiness but serving ourselves only makes our problems increase. We choose suffering for ourselves because we run to the very things which lead only to pain and death. The problem is that as humans we have a sinful nature, which is an innate tendency toward wrong and evil. Even though we may know what is right we find it very difficult to do it (Rom 7:18-20). It is this natural inclination to evil which seperates us from God (Col 1:21), but God demonstrated his love for us by sending Jesus to die in our place for our sinful actions, so that we may come back into a right relationship with Him (Rom 5:6,8). As Christians we believe the most important thing in life is to be reconciled to God and subsequently, live a life worthy in his sight (Eph 2:8-10, 4:1-2).
As Christians, we believe it is important to tell others about God's love for them and his desire to be reconciled with them. We believe that God desires all people to be saved and enter into a right relationship with him (1Tim 2:4). We have no desire to manipulate people into believing what we do, or forcing them to do so in any way. We simply offer what we believe is a message of hope, love and a way to a more fulfilling existence, which is in God.
For GOD so loved the world that he gave his one and only SON, so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. GOD did not send his SON into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in Jesus is not condemned but whoever does not believe in him stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of GOD's one and only SON. Here's what it comes down to: Light has come into the world but people love darkness instead of light because their deeds are evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light and won't come near it because their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light so that it may be seen plainly that what they do has been done through GOD.
Hasten to save me, O GOD; Come quickly to help me O LORD. May those who seek my life be put to shame and confusion; May all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace. May those who laugh at me turn back because of their shame. But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; May those who love your salvation always say, "Let GOD be exalted!" Yet I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O GOD . You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay.
