From March 19-26, 2001 Marti & I welcomed our dear friend Laurie Troost
to Paris for an action-packed visit that included lots of gastronomical delights,
groovy live music & tons of fun. We were joined for a great part of the time
by Laurie's pals Ryan & Jill, Widespread Panic freeks from Colorado,
who contributed huge smiles & abundant energy to the weeklong party.

On these three pages you'll find images of Laurie's visit to the
City of Light. Enjoy!

Laurie arrived on Monday evening & the three of us went to dinner at Le Cap.
On Tuesday afternoon Laurie & I checked out Natalia M. King's
in-store showcase concert at FNAC Forum Les Halles.

After the gig, Laurie & I spoke with Natalia, who is a wonderful singer-songwriter
and she's into the Grateful Dead -- especially "Fire On The Mountain!"
Before Laurie & I knew it, we were lining up against the wall . . .

While at FNAC, Laurie picked up a ticket for the next night's Eric Clapton concert.

Laurie went to Slowhand's show with Ryan & Jill.

Marti & I had an invitation to attend a Robert Crumb gallery opening
that evening at the Erotic Museum in Pigalle . . .
