On February 10, 2001 the Paris Crew gathered again for an acoustic jam on rue Blomet.

The party was given in honor of our friends Kathryn Meyer & Jonathan Woods,
who were visiting from San Francisco.

As at the previous Acoustic Couscous Jam, we kicked off the evening
by getting folks together at our apartment for a long happy hour.

At about 9:30 p.m. we reconvened at Le Mistral, just across the street.
After downing heaping bowlfuls of delicious North African couscous
and lots of wine, we got the music going.

The jams covered a wide-ranging repertoire, including songs by the Ramones,
LL Cool J, Neil Young, Spinal Tap, the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead
& dozens of others. A highlight of the evening was the sing-a-long
on "I Love Rock 'n Roll," led by the rock classic's author, Alan Merrill.

After the restaurant closed, we came back to our place for
a fun, raunchy aftershow party, which ran until nearly 5 a.m.

A big thanks to everyone who chimed in & props to all
the professional musicians who made the
Return of the Acoustic Couscous Jam such a special night!
