Quality Inn w/ Southdown and Commercial Faith

This show rocked. It was a pain in the ass to get it started because the stupid Lenox Community Center booked Irish Dancers when we were supposed to bring the rock. We switched, and the Quality Inn was better anyway. Southdown is amazing!!! Their songs kick. Commercial Faith rocked, and then we got to close it because Derek set this whole thing up. We rocked, and it was probably our best show ever. We also forgot to play Anything to be Popular, but hey, life goes on. Jon played for the first time with his new amp, and it sounded great. Plus, i can't forget all the skankers, and the moshers, and the rest of the fans. Special thanks to the girls who stayed outside at the Community Center and told everyone that the show was moved. It was Eric's Birthday, yup, the bastard's 17.

A Ska-Punk Christmas at the Cyberian Cafe

Wow!!! This show was so awesome, and all of us felt good after it was done. We were really impressed with all you fans who came out and supported us, it was great to see! We played our three Christmas songs, and they kicked, especially Jingle Bells. Travis cut his finger, but luckily Jon had duct tape to fix it. Eric didn't wear his glasses, Jon rocked, Tony got all the ladies, and Derek, besides being the man, and being the one who basically made Skip George, well, um, he rocked too. So long for now, until we meet again.....

Cyberian Cafe

This was the first ever show that Skip George ever did alone, and we were supposed to fill 2 hours of time, hey we tried! This show was awesome! there were so many people there, and we were all really happy with the turnout. We played pretty well, and we had to do alot of covers, but it all worked out great and we had a blast! Thanks for the support!

Western Mass Ska-Punk Fest

This was by far the best show ever! We had so much fun here. There was all kinds of ska-punk bands, including Skarmy of Darkness, Cappuccino Jellybeans, and Pointless. They were all really good. We went on first, and went right through the set. Tonight was the first live performance of our new song "Anything to be Popular" and we had a blast playing it! The Old Store is such a cool place for concerts! We hope we get invited back soon!

Wahconah Calliope Talent Show

Well, tonight was Skip George's night to show Wahconah their stuff, and that they did. We were all really psyched, because we got alot of time and we got to close the show!! We all hung out, and listened to American Lies put on an awesome set. When we got up their we knew it would rock. Right when we started playing "TONY DOESN'T LIKE HARDCORE" the crowd was on it's feet. It was so amazing to have a bunch of people really getting into our music. We played two other originals, and then BROWN EYED GIRL!!! They loved it! We had a blast at this little Talent Show!!! And we showed them that our drummer Derek is the MAN!!!

AppleSqueeze Concerts!

Hey everyone! Thank you sooo much for coming out and supporting us at the AppleSqueeze in Lenox! We all had a blast playing in front of a dumpster in a parking lot!! On Saturday, we played in the morning, and it was cold and windy!!! We didn't play too well, but everything was fun! Sunday rocked! Commercial Faith put on an Awesome set, and then we played around 3:00. All of us were pretty psyched to be doing this show, and we had a great performance. The audience was pretty big, with alot of diversty in age, which was suprising. We gave out a million stickers, and even had to sign a few!!! Also....Eric's guitar case somehow got left in front of the stage, and some of our "diehard" fans popped some money into it, which was really cool of them! We're gonna use it to buy some new stuff for Skip George, so thanks alot! Our fans are the BEST!!!!

Song Writing Session

Things have been going very well for the band. The show went great, and it looks like we will be playing a few more shows in the future, so we are all really excited. We got together today, and knew that we already had our songs down, so it was time for more. We worked really hard, and out popped some really, really hot songs. One of them is called "Our Turn to Win" and it has a really fun chorus, we ate lunch, and then wrote "Stuck in Western Massachuusetts." This one was really hard to do, and things were a little tense, but we made it, and the songs kick!

Youth Fest Show

This was our first "real" show, with people and everything. We were all really excited to play it because there were lots of other bands and all kinds of stuff going on. We went on after Dredi, which was this really cool reggae band. They rocked. So we set up, and it was time. We started with "Johnny's Having a Party," the one we always start with. We had to cut 2 of our songs though, because the people were running late, so that sucked. "Semi Charmed Life" had to go along with "Don't Hate Me." We played hard, and everyone said it was pretty cool, even the guy from Dredi said we were "hot shit!!" So, it rocked, and we can't wait to play again!

08.17.2000

Band Practice!

Today was the best sounding band practice EVER! We played long and hard, and got "Semi Charmed Life" down! It sounds amazing. We worked on all the songs, and went over and over everything. "925" as well as "We Hate Eric" are both done, and really have a great sound to them! Mike Kinney sat in with us for a few hours, to listen to Skip George, and he heard the best!! We all all very excited for our show the 26th, we'll hope to see you there!

Band Practice!

Travis, Derek, Eric, and Jon were the four that managed to get out to Lenox for practice. Tony is in Canada, vacationing. We worked on two semi new songs, "925" and "We Hate Eric." Now, they sound tons better, and are some of the best material that we have. We ate lunch at Burger King, then practiced for 3 more hours. We tried to decide on a cover song to do, and were going to do "La Vida Loca" by Rickey Martin, but decided on "Semi Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind. This turned out to be a great song, and worked very well. It will be ready for the show, the 26, so if you want to hear it, you gotta be there! That's about it, Eric chipped his guitar, Derek broke his stick, the amp Jon was using didn't work, and travis lost a key! What a day!

Band Practice!
