Pay City
Produced By Andy Wolff
Arranged by The Resinators
Released: October 2004
Album Design:
All photos for this album were taken by Paul Jokelainen while the band was performing at The Wayland Hotel in 2003. The title came from Andy noticing evertime Arek would call him on the phone, it read "PAY CITY" on the call display, to which was decided this would be the title of this album.
Recording Equipment:
Tascam Analog Cassette 8-Track Machine
Album Info:
Almost immediately after releasing "The Adventures Of Johnny Mars", the songs for this album were already starting to get written. With the line-up of Wolff/Cherwonick/Chamski/Agombar/Arding one would hear them play "The Big Time", "Piece Of Mind", "Pay City" and "Will She Be All Mine" at live shows. Sadly, the music from this combination didn't get recorded before Agombar and Arding left in Aug/2003. Soon after Luke Maloney joined the band as the new drummer, recording sessions began and like the first album, ended a year later. With Terry Agombar's influence on the keyboards, it was decided regardless of his absence, keyboards would be added to this album. Actually, although Terry departed from the band, he was gracious enough to lend the band the equipment they recorded on.
