Redline is an innovative metal-hardcore band from Bergen county, New Jersey, located just outside of New York City. Redline has been together for three years earning a reputation for being one of the hardest working bands around, playing 45 to 60 shows a year. The Redline sound blends hardcore and metal influences with a heavy concentration on breakdowns.
Redline formed from Mike Corra and J.J. Runfeldt, still in the band, and Scott Pampellonne who is no longer with the band. In late 1998, Redline released a six-song demo CD and the small pressing of 500 sold out in a matter of three months. Later that year Redline added Kenny Miner and Rob Weston to the lineup and played relentlessly for over a year straight. The final lineup was completed in late 1999 with Jon Strauss replacing Scott as bassist, Mike and Rob playing guitar, J.J. on vocals and Kenny on the drums.
Redline's full length CD entitled "Moments of Truth", produced by Sal Villanueva (New York's Hardest 1 and 2), is being distributed in the United States by Black Pumpkin Distribution, and in Europe, Japan, and Malaysia by Spill the Blood Records.
