Walls - by Randy Rocket (Randall Alan Fultz)

Walls

Words and Music Copyright 2000 by Randall Alan Fultz.

Walls you build to keep other people out, sometimes become jails.
Brick by brick and then row by row and we build, when everything else fails.
Many people build walls because of things they fear that will never happen
Or because of a broken heart, But then those walls become a prison cell.

In your home do you live inside four walls, with a perfect stranger?
Never sharing your love or being close - Your family's in danger.
Time to tear down the walls and open up the lines of communication
Before there is a disintegration, and your family is a broken home.

Won't you open your heart, come out and play, and tell me how you feel?
Maybe you take yourself too serious: Lighten up - get real!
Don't you think that it's time that you enjoy the life that's been given to you?
Every day that you live's another gift from God to you and me.

There's a wall between people everywhere, between them and the Father.
Good News is that He sent His Son to die - In our place He was offered.
He breaks down every wall and fence and every kind of divider
Then He brings all of us together to become the Family of God.

"Now many will hear of the wonderful things He has done for me, & put their trust in Him"(Ps 40:3)
