When I was young, I thought I knew God.
He was really BIG, and sometimes I got real afraid
That He was waiting for a chance to get me.

But I grew up, and now I know God.
I met Him through His Son,Who loves me more than anyone.
When I listen for His voice I hear Him calling (Chorus)

He's sayin', "Do not fear, for I am with you,
Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen and I will help you
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand"


Sometimes it's hard to keep movin' on
Life gets really tough, the devil tries to trip us up
Then we're cryin' out to God because we're falling

You think you're done, there's no place to go
You really messed it up, you'll never get things straightened out
You're feeling lost, but don't you hear Him calling (Chorus)

"Now many will hear of the wonderful things He has done for me, & put their trust in Him"(Ps 40:3)
