1) What you read in the paper and what you see on TV Is it really the truth or just what you’re led to believe Is it just their perspective - unbiased, open and free, Or do they have an agenda of what they want you to see? (Chorus)
(Chorus 1) Oh, Think about what the Truth is Those things on which most of us agree Like fairness, kindness, honesty, and that God is still up in Heaven Then choose which truth you will believe
2) Some say it’s just superstition, some kind of fairytale dream A story ‘bout a Redeemer who came to set us all free. Deep down some know what the truth is, though not in words they can speak, Their hearts and thoughts are at battleand make it hard to believe (Chorus2)
(Chorus2) Oh Think what Truth is really based on On the latest feed of filth from Hollywood? On pop-psychology, the latest wave of fads, or situational ethics? Oh choose which truth you will believe
3) What you see at the movies, or on your computer screen, Or what you read in your Bible, which one of these sets you free? Is Truth just based on opinion, on polls and majorities? Or does it come down from Heaven, from God who made all things? (Chorus3)
(Chorus3) Oh Think about Who the Truth is Is it a Man who died upon a tree? A Man who gave up everything He had to give us freedom So we could choose which Truth we will believe..... Choose the Truth - you will believe
