teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: We don't know specifics. They are still closing on dates and stuff.

teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: Yeah, I think that the hardest thing about doing what we are doing is being away constantly from family and friends.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: Especially when -- some people, especially coming into the business now at such a young age, it is hard to build strong friendships
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: All of us have built strong friendships where we live and it is hard to be out of that
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: All of our friends and families are definitely supportive
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: That is something that keeps me going -- to know that there will be a break and I will get to see everybody.

pow_jjp asks: Does anyone tell you what to do and what not to do concerning your appearance?
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: No, that has been asked of us ever since we came together
teenhollywood_plusone: Everyone has asked our manager "Do you tell them how to dress?"
teenhollywood_plusone: But we all do our own thing
teenhollywood_plusone: When it comes to shopping and stuff, we're kinda like girls. We're all into it. We can shop for real, its funny.
teenhollywood_plusone: As far as style and stuff, nobody really tells us how to look
teenhollywood_plusone: They giv eus their opinions, but that is expected.

teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: I can't really answer for the other guys. I don't know what they would say, but I do right now.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: It is kind of hard, you know, knowing exactly where the relationship is at when you are on the road and are apart.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: Thats about as far into that one as I want to go ! :)

teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: You know what, in the beginning of the group I didn't really like it that much -- being the youngest -- but now I don't even think about it anymore.
teenhollywood_plusone: The youngest is the biggest in our group!

lastflightout4plusone asks: Any plans for a new CD soon? If so, are you guys planning to write more and play your own instruments? That would be awesome!!!! -Natalie, CA
teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: A new CD soon is definitely a plan
teenhollywood_plusone: We're hoping to release one by fall of next year
teenhollywood_plusone: We will probably be going into the studio by this summer.
teenhollywood_plusone: and then we'll be doing more writing
teenhollywood_plusone: We've actually already started that
teenhollywood_plusone: We've been working on songs since this past summer so hopefully we will get more cuts on this album
teenhollywood_plusone: As far as instruments, we might play some on our spring tour that is coming up.
teenhollywood_plusone: We will probably -- in concert -- on one or two songs, do some live instrument stuff

ladycookychic asks: Do you like how you are being liked by other teens then the ones who are in to Christian rock?
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: That is always a highlight when we hear about people who aren't into the Christian faith and don't listen to the music on a regular basis. That tells us that we are interested in taking Christian music to the next level. And it is a perfect opportunity for them to find out what we are all about and for the message to sink in.

teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: Actually it was different from what all of us were expecting.. It was a lot more laid back. We went in there without any lines memorized and the whole time we were goofing around with Belle and Mimi. They were young and fun. We had to do like five different takes because we kept making them laugh. If you want to watch us on TV again you can watch us on Christmas Eve on ABC -- we will be singing with Monica, CHristina Aguilera, N Sync, Faith Hill

funkeymunkey2005 asks: Has your life changed alot since you became songers?
teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: I think the five of us -- our lives have changed in such a big way. A lot of us come from smaller towns.
teenhollywood_plusone: The whole being a part of the music industry has changed our lives, for the most part for the better.
teenhollywood_plusone: You really learn a lot about yourself and about your faith.
teenhollywood_plusone: It is weird, especially just for me. A year ago I was in my senior year of high school, getting into trouble and messing around, and a year later with a lot of responsibility of being in a pop group
teenhollywood_plusone: ANd your head is just spinning and it is really cool.
teenhollywood_plusone: We are enjoying every aspect of it.
teenhollywood_plusone: Someone said to me today "Do you miss not going to College?"
teenhollywood_plusone: I was a horrible student and I didn't try all that hard.... so.. I really enjoy what we are doing and it is really fun.

Jenex_99 asks: As a Christian band, what is your view on Christian musicians who write secular music?
teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: To me, as long as it is clean, I think it is just like any other job.
teenhollywood_plusone: People are good and talented at certain things. If someone is talented at writing love songs that express their feelings -- if you write poetry or books.. I think it is a cool thing.
teenhollywood_plusone: If someone is good at doing something, they should go for it.
teenhollywood_plusone: Many CHristians get involved in mainstream things because they can reach a lot of people that they wouldn't normally reach because a lot of people may get turned off by people who are really forward with their faith
teenhollywood_plusone: If someone is really talented, hopefully they can be a good witness about their faith and who they are.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: The way I look at it is that I don't look at music as anything else.
teenhollywood_plusone: I could write a song about a shoe and that wouldn't mean that I'm any less of a christian
teenhollywood_plusone: But I think that the main thing is -- no matter what you are going to do, you would be doing it with God's will.
teenhollywood_plusone: Whether I'm writing a love song or a song about a shoe or about my faith, I would try to involve my faith in every area of my writing.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: A love song gives a perspective of the way that CHristians look at love -- and the way that god meant love to me.
teenhollywood_plusone: err.. to be.
teenhollywood_plusone: It kind of shines a light on what Christians believe love to be.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: I could write a good shoe song too

plusonegurl_84 asks: What is the best prank you have done on one of the guys?~ Karen, Calif.
teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: I think that one time, Jeremy and Nathan .. pretty much all of us.. Gabe was in the shower and we put ice cold water into cartons and left it in the fridge
teenhollywood_plusone: We were going to dump it on him and he had just turned the shower on.
teenhollywood_plusone: And all of a sudden he walked out of the bathroom with just a towel on and we were standing there with ice cold water
teenhollywood_plusone: We didn't know what to do so Jeremy dumped all of the water on him and we all chucked the water
teenhollywood_plusone: That was really good
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: There was a really good prank that was played on Nate and I. We got split up somehow and Nathan and Jeremy had the car somehow
teenhollywood_plusone: They told us that they ran into David Foster and told us to meet them at a party
teenhollywood_plusone: We were like "a party, that sounds fun"
teenhollywood_plusone: He called us back and told us directions that he totally just made up
teenhollywood_plusone: He told us to go to some club and to tell them that we should be on the list and that we were here for David Foster's party
teenhollywood_plusone: The guy looked at the list and said "Plus what ? who?"
teenhollywood_plusone: All of the while, Nathan and Jeremy were out at a party in Malibu
teenhollywood_plusone: It went on for like two hours and they were like "you're at the wrong place, this is how to get there"
teenhollywood_plusone: We went to like three clubs before we figured it out
teenhollywood_plusone: We were SO mad !! They totally lost our trust

teenhollywood_plusone: Not necessarily just that, but we are stereotyped a lot of times and rightly so by people who don't know anything about us.. they assume that we are a boyband.
teenhollywood_plusone: They think that we were put together
teenhollywood_plusone: Just the question about appearance .. do they tell you what do wear?
teenhollywood_plusone: That is probably one of the biggest way that we get stereotyped
teenhollywood_plusone: But I don't think that it bothers any of us because, looking at all of the other guys, they are all so talented. People that hang around us or that really follow us know about us.
teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: I think that when people meet us , they see that we are real
teenhollywood_plusone: We aren't doing this to be stars
teenhollywood_plusone: Before we started, we were just singing at home and at church
teenhollywood_plusone: We feel blessed and we don't take it for granted
teenhollywood_plusone: THat is probably one of the stereotypes too. People think that we have a lot of money too, which isn't true.
teenhollywood_plusone: My brother and sister said that their friends ask at school if I am rich.. and the answer is no.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: I think one sterotype that I've noticed ove rthe last couple of days is reading some of the fan mail. One girl wrote me last night and asked if we would be the typical Christian group and then cross over into other music. It is kind of out of ignorance that they think that we are doing this to try to make it to the mainstream. I think that some Christians can do that, but we are definitely in this to give God the glory and that is the only reason.

teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: Romeo and Juliet, the new movie .. that movie is tight.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: Braveheart is a good movie.. that's like one of my favorite movies.
teenhollywood_plusone: And we all love Dumb and Dumber.. it is like a group favorite
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: I gotta give a shoutout for Rush Hour too.. that is a great movie.

teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: I think of what I am going to do that day and how I am going to do it
teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: I think of how much more sleep I can get and how much longer I can sleep and not waste my day away
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: I think of probably .. find out what time it is or I make sure what time it is.. make sure that I am on time.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: If ther eis something that I have to wake up for then I make sure that I have the time to make it there
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: If I don't have anything to do then I would sleep for a long time

teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: Its an inside joke because Gabe used to say it all the time.. It's like a way to say it. It is like Gabe's humor.. his inside joke.

teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: Yeah, definitely. Even from the emails that we get. We kind of have a screen name for our fans to e-mail us. I get letters about how much our music has done for people.
teenhollywood_plusone: Helping them through life.. with their boyfriend, girlfriend, families..
teenhollywood_plusone: They will totally say "You know what, this song helped me get through a bad time"
teenhollywood_plusone: I hope that there are others too

teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: We were in Houston Texas and we were doing a show and a lot of people came
teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: I don't even think that our album was out yet
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: we were standing on stage, singing our last song and the power went out in the middle of the song
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: we were under a tent and there was like a split second of weirdness and all of a sudden I yelled at everyone to keep singing
teenhollywood_plusone: Everybody in the whole tent started singing it
teenhollywood_plusone: It was really hot and everybody kept singing it, everybody had fun
teenhollywood_plusone: It didn't even matter.
teenhollywood_plusone: It made it so cool that something could go wrong and we reacted and the crowd responded and it was fun, it was really cool.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: One of my really cool memories too was -- as a group one time we went down near San Diego at La Hoya and we went like.. we were walking around looking at the beach and all of a sudden we started walking on this trail..
teenhollywood_plusone: We were climbing down the side of the cliff.. and it was adventurous. We ended up on a part of the beach where there were more people. It was just fun. That was one of my really good memories.

teenhollywood_plusone: Its funny because people ask us that.
teenhollywood_plusone: People can interpret songs however they'd like. But the way that we sing it is to a girl

teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: my dogs are barking in the background and they say hello

teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: I remember the first thing that I can remember ever wanted to be or do was to be an artist. I wanted to paint. I had pictures of me when I was three and I had a little gray on.. it was the first thing that I wanted to be when I was an artist.
teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: I went from wanting to be a baseball player when I was real little and then I wanted to be a minister
teenhollywood_plusone: And then I wanted to be a singer
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: I wanted to be in the NFL when I was really little
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: I wanted to be in the NFL when I was little but when I was older I realized that I wasn't big enough
teenhollywood_plusone: Then honestly I wanted to be a singer and sing for the rest of my life

teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: I like teen people and like.. Billboard Magazine. Ever since our album came out we have been on the charts. I read that a lot.
teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: I like music industry magazines, but I also like men's fashion magazines.

teenhollywood_plusone: Nate: Even if I don't buy the magazine, at a magazine store I will look at it

teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: like last year I had a hard time staying active. I like to stay athletic and be involved with sports and to keep up.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: Last year I had trouble because everything was so new and my mind was so crazy with the music industry.. but now I've been able to follow basketball, football, and still even when we are on tour I can keep up with it.

teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: Yeah, totally
teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: One is DC Talk .. that we've always wanted to. And then .. another one that we are getting ready to collaborate with, a girl named Natalie Grant. She has a huge voice -- a really soulful voice. We are talking about doing a song with her.
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: i'd love to do a song with P.O.D... it'd be like two different worlds colliding.

teenhollywood_plusone: Jeremy: My sister says hi to everybody
teenhollywood_plusone: Jason: We did along with one of our friends and one of the writers for the album. He came up with "Five Plus One".. we would joke around a lot with names
teenhollywood_plusone: When he said "Five Plus One", the meaning would be "Five" as in the guys and "Plus One" meaning god.
teenhollywood_plusone: We went through a bunch of names before we got our name and it was all stupid and pointless
teenhollywood_plusone: As a group we talked about it and shortened it down to "Plus One" meaning that you always have god and you are never alone
