WEBSTER THEATRE SHOW DECEMBER 8TH:
(reported by Jeff Maker II)
The time was 7:45 P.M. and in the freezing cold weather, with snow on the ground, tHrOnE fans gathered outside of the Webster waiting for the doors to open. Meanwhile, inside the Webster, tHrOnE and their team of "Red Shirts" were scrambling to finish preparing for tHrOnE's 10:00 P.M. set time. In the backstage area there were 4 rooms that many great musicians had been in. Their art work, autographs, stickers, and weird phrases covered the walls of the dressing rooms and bathroom. There was even a fireplace pumping in some heat for the bands.
The time was now 8:00 P.M. and the doors opened for the awaiting fans. Warmth and a night filled with great music awaited them. Fans poured in for about an hour and came to an estimated total of 800+ fans that were on hand. Many chillas came over to tHrOnE's merchandise booth to say hello to the "Red Shirts" and to buy some tHrOnE T-shirts before the guys took the stage. Meanwhile, Derek, Justin, and Casey were chillin' backstage eating their dinner that consisted of a tuna fish grinder (Derek), a salami grinder (Casey), a half eaten bologna grinder (Justin) and to wash it all down...some flavored coffee drinks that I forgot the name of. There were also many members of the press on hand to check out tHrOnE, DCN.com was there broadcasting the entire show over the internet, Record Express, and Radio 104 were all there supporting the local band movement that is changing the face of the local scene in CT.
The anticipation in the crowd was building as the clock approached 10:00 P.M. When the first band, GAIAH, was finished with their set, they took their stuff of stage and the "Red Shirts" went to work on getting tHrOnE's stuff on stage. The crowd went nuts when they saw the spray painted "THRONE" on Casey's drum set. "Cousin" Chris from Radio 104 was on hand announcing the bands, and when he was finished announcing tHrOnE, fans began to scream. Casey then took the stage and the screaming became deafening! He picked up the boom box that he left on stage by his drums that was playing "Another Dumb Blonde" by HOKU. He held it up to the mic and then threw it down and beat the living hell out of it with a baseball bat! That was Justin and Derek's cue to take the stage and the chillas came undone with excitement. Feedback....BAM!! "Blackeye" then straight into "Winter". Derek's vocals were a little bit low in the beginning of the set but the volume was raised during "Winter". After that, Derek said hello to the fans and thanked them all for coming out in the crappy weather. Next was "Chewy's Moshpit" then Derek talked about a white cow and a brown cow in fight...who would win?! "Everyone's Grudge" and then a crazy fan jumped up on stage with the guys and starting banging her head to the music, but was scared off by one of the HUGE crowd control guys. Wait a second...is that a butterfly in the sky?! "Reading Rainbow" theme song came in and the guys said that after this show they were going to retire it for awhile...awwww. After that it was time for a song dedicated to a certian chilla-chilla (you know who you are), "So Jealous". After that Justin and Derek spoke to the fans about how the song they were gonna play next was written about tHrOnE fans. For the fans who buy their CDs, fans who genuinely support them, fans who visit ThroneOnline.com, and fans who comes to the their shows...they are the "New Army"!! Then the song that everyone knows the words to, "With It" and when Derek asked the crowd to sing the words...they did!! They knew every word. Then right before tHrOnE's last song, Derek had prepared a little poem for the fans. One of the chilla-gorillas in the crowd was yelling that he knew every word to their last song so Derek invited the fan on stage to read the poem. The fan read the Derek's peom, "Roses are red, violets are blue, word to your mother, cause mama said knock you out!" EVERYBODY JUMP..."OVERTHROWN"!!!! The same fan who jumped up on stage during "Everyone's Grudge" got up there again during "Overthrown"! What a cool chilla!
I have said it before and I have no problem saying it again. This show left me speechless. I have been to pretty much every big tHrOnE show and this was by far (not even joking or exaggerating) the best show they have ever put on. Incredible set! I also want to give mad props to Grey Cell Green for a kick ass set right after tHrOnE and for video taping all of the bands there that night. You guys rule! Thanks to all of the fans for making it such a memorable night. And don't forget to check out the article on tHrOnE in the December 14th issue of the Hartford Advocate! Click here to read it!
WEBSTER THEATRE SHOW DECEMBER 8TH:
(reported by Patrice Rasmussen - a hardcore chilla)
This is my 2 cents on the December 8th concert...which I might say was the best, most rockin concert ever!
After the great band, Gaiah got done playing, each and evey Chilla was waiting for the moment when tHrOnE would step out on stage and would start to play. After a little while of waiting, for the set change (Thanks To The Guys In Red..I love what you do!)..Chillas yelling for Casey as he enters the stage with a radio!! Yes, A radio, and on that radio is Hoku Playing "Another Dumb Blonde". Ces threw that radio down on the stage and beat the crap out of it with his huge raging muscles...the crowd still cheering and yelling! Derek and Justin both entered the stage...beginning to play "Blackeye" and next "Winter". After those two wonderfully played songs, Derek thanked all the Chillas for coming in such bad, cold weather. "Chewys Moshpit" was next...speaking of moshpits, there were some good ones there. After that song, Derek was talking about 2 cows, a white one and a brown one and the getting into a fight..which one would win?(Personly, I think neither of them would win, cuz their nasty big cow boogers would cover them both)..and of course after that little talk was "Everyone's Grudge", right after that song they played "Reading Rainbow", that being one of my favorite songs, I decided I wanted to go up on stage and show my love for tHrOnE, I had my other hardcore chilla friend, Morgan left me up there. I saw the big bad security guard standing down below, and he was getting mad, so I jumped down. After the great song, was a dedication to a very nice chilla (FeAtHeR) "So Jealous". Next Justin and Derek talked to the audience and talked about the next song they were going to play "New Army". Having the fans sing with him, Derek sang "With It", while Casey played great drums and Justin playing great as ever with his guitar. A special treat Derek planned for all of us Chillas...he thought of a nice poem. Derek invited a Chilla-Gorilla to come up and read it to us all, and it went something like this: 'Roses are red, violets are blue, word to your mother, cause mama said knock you out!' and they started to rock to "Overthrown"...This being one of my other favorite songs, I got up on stage and had a great time! (but of course that security guy had to come up and get me off...again!)
Being a crazy, hardcore Chilla-Chilla, going to a lot of tHrOnE concerts, I must say this was the best concerts tHrOnE has done!! There were a lot of people, a lot of energy, and a lot of love (and adding that I did my mission: I found out who "B" is). tHrOnE rocks and will always rock forever and forever and they will always live and play inside my head.

WEBSTER THEATRE SHOW DECEMBER 8TH:
(reported by Becca Seery - rockin' chilla-chick)
It was Friday, December 8th and it was a nice freezing icy night. It was the night of my nice Flurry Fest Christmas dance( at my school) so as all the little kids buzzed all day telling and describing what there nice little dresses look like. I sat waiting very impatiently to see tHrOnE passing notes about every block with my bestest hard-core chilla chilla friend Patrice. Talkin about how awesome this show was gonna be. So as you can tell if you take a look at the message board I was freakin out waiting for it to come. And the promotion thing on spinning unrest made it a lot harder to stay calm.
So finally it was the time to leave for the show and Morgan another chilla(and my loving cousin) decided to surprise us and tell us she only had 4 tickets and freak us all out. So as the others shouted I knew I wouldn't shout cause I was getting in no matter what. I would just beat Morgan up for one..No I wouldn't hurt her but I would get very mad. So once we got things straitened out and rode in the nice long drive got lost I was so happy freakin out to see the boys. When we got there the first awesome person I saw was Jeff in the NICE!! red shirt..(those shirts rock, I got my white but red o man!!) So I made my way to the front for Gaiah knowing that lots would be moving in for tHrOnE. I watched Gaiah who was pretty cool. But right when they ended yea yea the best crew ever loaded out the equipment and got things goin.Chants for Casey were heard threw the whole place. Casey the stud he is seemed a little nervous but when he got his drums set up and went and got the radio playing some hoku"another dumb blonde"he didn't seem the least bit shy throwing it to the ground with a loud smash.Thinkin that was cool we all chanted louder. But then he just did it the best he picked up a baseball bat and things went haywire..people screaming like crazy he beat that thing till it was nothing it was great!
He slowly made his way to the back of the stage and sat himself at his very well know distinct spray painted drum set. You could tell he was ready to rock and very soon after the guys made there way out. And the crowd was roaring again louder then before. It was like three times what it was before. You could hear people yelling some insane things to the guys. And so crazy girls yelling some obsessed things to Justin but anyways the guys picked up there guitars and got right into "Blackeye". You could tell the crowd was freakin out. People were trying to crowd surf but the scary guy pulled them down and some crazy pits in the back. People were just off the wall going crazy. Then as they went into the next song "Winter" things just kept going more insane it was great. So they rocked out the song and stopped and decided to thank us all for comin out and seeing them play in such bad weather. But you could tell from these crazy chillas nothing was gonna stop them especially not weather..Maybe a scary security guard though. Who kept stopping the chillas when they made to much movement. But then as the guys got into "Chewys moshpit" it was clear not even Mr.Scary was stopping them...The whole place rocked during that song...and some crazy girls even threw some purple thong underwear to Justin witch stayed on his mic the whole rest of the show...But then things quieted down again for Derek to tell us all about a white cow and black cow getting in a fight...and so we all knew it was to get crazy once again for the ultimate "Everyone's Grudge". We all song the song along with him and rocked out jumping and being crazy heads... but then it was time for alittle song to bring us all back to the day...the reading rainbow days..yes they played "Reading Rainbow" one of there few show songs...and the chilla Treece decided to show her love and get on stage so I squeezed over and helped give her alittle boost. She jumped and got wild but then Mr.Scary came in again and scared her off stage. So she jumped off and rocked with the rest of us threw the rest of the song..Then there was a dedication to the hardest rocking chilla of them all Feather...who sold me my tix...so she rocks...we cheered for her and rocked harder for that one then ever because we weren't jealous she got "So Jealous" dedicated for to her. She sold lots of tix she deserved it. Then we all heard Derek and Justin tell us how awesome we are which was great and it was time for the new song that not many people knew the words to"New Army"that most had only heard a few times. Everyone just listened to the awesome new song. Which is crazy. Very good and easy to flip too. So then as that song ended they just jammed right into. "With it" and we could all tell they were all with it tongiht. This being on of the most awesome shows yet!!! Then it was time for another quite time. Derek had to read a little poem he had prepared for us...but a crazy kid in the crowed yelled to him and he came up and read the well composed poem. reading.. Roses are red. Violets are blue. Word to your mother, cause mama said knock you out!! EVERYBODY JUMP!! It was time for "Overthrown" and crazy boy stayed on stage and went nuts and Patrice got up there again and went nuts with him for a while. But then got off also.
Then after that they were done and got off stage they weren't nearly done. Fans ran over to give hugs, get CDs signed (which Jeff with his flashlight had just sold)! And everyone had compliments to give. Then they slipped to the back stage. And the other bands went on. But nothing could compare to the tHrOnE set!! tHrOnE ruled the night!! Showing everyone what its about!

WEBSTER THEATRE SHOW DECEMBER 8TH:
(reported by heAther Lambert - HTGC)
First off I would like to say as hTgc I always have a high opinion of any tHrOnE concert that I attend. This has been true since my very first tHrOnE concert on April 29th. But and yes I say but... THIS WAS THE BEST SHOW EVER!!! Yes the BEST! If it had been any better I would’ve had a heart attack and dropped dead! No exaggeration.
Let me start from the beginning... It was 7:35 and just a wee bit chilly outside. As I was standing there waiting to get in, I looked around and was glad to see many familiar chilla faces. It was about 8:03 and the doors finally opened. The second I stepped in the door I couldn’t believe that it was really the day that I had been anticipating for at least a month As I turned the corner, the first people I saw were Jeff and Steve, or ‘the red shirts’ as they are being referred to now, behind the booth selling our beloved throne merchandise. I ran to give them hugs and then went around and talked with all of my chilla buds. After a while of listening to some decent techno, Gaiah took the stage; they played then finished and went away. Then we knew what time it was, the fans started pushing up close to the stage. As soon as Gahia got their equipment out of the way, the ’red shirts’ came and what did we see, CASEY'S DRUMS!!! The chillas went wild! Dan brought out DeEks ‘Blackeye’ and j-towns guitar and he tuned them and did his thing than the lights went down. Casey stepped out on stage with a boom box, he brought it up to the speaker and it was playing some song about "Just a Stupid Blondie" by this poop chickie named Haiku or something I have no clue who it was... but anyhOo he threw it down and grabbed a bat and smashed that boom box to bits with his bulging muscles. Then it was time for DeEk and Justin to take the stage, and all heLL broke loose in the crowd when they came out.
First ‘Blackeye’ then right into ‘Winter‘. And even though DeEks vocals and bass were a bit quiet for these two songs, they still kicked major chilla buttox. DeEk then went on to say hey, and thank us all for showing up despite the miserable weather...next ‘Chewy’s Moshpit‘, my personal favorite from "Euphoria", and after that was done DeEk pondered who would be the winner of a fight between a white cow and a brown cow, than they broke into ‘Everyone’s Grudge‘, after this they played their awesome cover of ‘Reading Rainbow’ which is so very kewlie, and the infamous chilla stage-jumper Patrice leaped on stage and jumped around, and than jumped off for fear of the big mean bouncer dude. And then it was time for my favorite tHrOnE song forever, ‘So Jealous‘.... But to my very surprise, it was dedicated to me! I was so very happy and still am!!! (tHaNk yOu for the millionth time!) It was so awesome, the best performance of it so far, and I’m not just being biased. After they were done with that, DeEk proceeded to thank all of us chillas for being true fans and explained how the next song was written for us... ‘New Army‘, which has to be one of the best. Then the one song that has gotten so many of us hooked, the first tHrOnE song I ever heard, the one, the almighty, ‘With It‘. The whole crowd went wild, so many of us know the song that he had us sing eep, it was great. Continuing on after ‘With It‘, DeEk had a little surprise for us, a poem that the ‘grabby guy’ as he is known, jumped on stage and read for us, "Roses are red. Violets are blue. Werd to your mother, Cause momma said knock you out" then they rocked straight into Overthrown. The infamous chilla stage jumper got up on stage again and went crazy along with the ‘grabby guy’ but was escorted off by the big mean bouncer dude. And then their set was over and I was sad. But that wasn’t the end of it... the guys were going to be behind the booth giving autographs and meeting the fans.
I got through the crowd to give them all hugs and to let them know how much they rocked, and to thank them for being so awesome and dedicating my favorite song to me. After the crowd around them was gone, I was talking to my friend and fellow chilla Morgan when our dear Boston bean gave me the cue to go and talk to DeEk. wOoHoO it was time for me to go backstage! After getting to ‘chump’ (so to speak) the big mean bouncer dude me and DeEk went down there it was really kewl even though there was no food and the frap-acraps they had stashed were missing. I also got to meet MadHat and a guy from the Evil Beetles. After chilling backstage for a while we came back up and it was time for me to leave, for my ride was there to pick us up, so I said goodbyE to the boys and my many friends there, and went on my very merry GC way. I had an awesome time there and to say the least tHrOnE is the bestest local band ever which probably means that they will be the best signed group ever which they will be sooner or later (sooner we all hope!)
Well that’s about it to summarize:
