Okay folks, only one week to go... So what's new in the world of Hoogie? Far too much! There would not be enough space in the virtual world for me to communicate all the news of Hoogie, so I will select the important bits to tell you... and it's up to you to read on!
FOR ALL THE BANDS... We have updated the sound company details on the bands page. This means that when you dial the phone number that is up there now, you will actually reach the sound company who will be toying with Hoogie's sound! So go ahead and good luck!
The official TIMETABLE has been released, it is up for viewing on the INFO page. Print this one out, kids, and start highlighting which band you will be seeing when...
When you are worring about what bands to see, don't forget to leave time for the BMX and MotoX demonstrations that will be going on throughout the day.

The big news, of course, is that BUSES WILL BE GOING TO HOOGIE from Brisbane. Departing Brisbane on the morning of the festival, the buses will travel to Hoogie and return that night. Cost for the bus is $45, or $40 for a student. This price includes your Hoogie ticket. Enquiries: 07 4660 6152
A wonderful day was had at Livid by all of the Hoogie volunteers, who wowed the crowds with their flier-handing-out enthusiasm. Highlights of the day were 'Kev' who may prove to be one of the biggest curiosity induced drawcards for Hoogie 2000 (Channel V loved him) and Merrick and Rosso, who refused to partake of flier reception before their gig.
Lots of fliers were handed out, and very few were found on the ground. On average, one in every four people at Livid were given a flier... And posters and stickers galore were planted on walls and people all over the RNA.

Alas, the band Satyr has had to withdraw from the lineup, but that doesn't mean any attendees will miss out! In fact, Hoogie's (and Satyr's!) loss is your gain...
We would like to welcome the bands Cheezecake and Kizmet to the Hoogie bill.
