Billie Joe Billie Joe Armstrong- Born on February 17, 1972, he was the youngest of six children. His father was a Jazz Drummer and a Truck Driver who died of cancer when Billie was only 10. Billie's mother was a waitress at Rod's Hickory Pit. When Billie was young he would sing at hospitals to cheer patients up. Billie wrote his first song, "Why Do You Want Him", when he was only twelve, which was later released on Green Day's 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. Billie married his Girlfriend, Adriene Nesser, in July of 1994 and had his son, Joseph Marcicano Armstrong, in March of 1995. In Green Day, Billie does lead vocals and plays Guitar.


Mike DirntMike Dirnt- Born on May 4th, 1972, Mike was originally named Micheal Prichard. Mike was born to a heroine addicted mother and a white father. Mike's adoptive parents separated when Mike was seven. He finally settled with his adoptive mother and older sister. Soon after that Mike went out on his own working at Rod's Hickory Pit, where Billie's mother worked. Mike eventually rented a room on the side of Billie's house. Mike married his girlfriend, Anastasia, in August of 1996, and had a daughter, Estelle-Desiree, in April of 1997. The pressures of being in Green Day on his marriage were too much and he and his wife separated. They are still very good friends. In Green Day mike plays Bass Guitar.

Tre CoolTre Cool- Tre plays drums in Green Day. Tre Cool was born to Frank Edwin Wright III, and was raised in the Mendocino Mountains. Tre's father built houses for a living. He built the house for their neighbor, Lawrence Livermore, who was the founder of their original label, Lookout Records. When Tre was 12, he joined Livermore's punk band, The Lookouts. When Green Day's Original drummer left for college Tre joined the group. Tre married his girlfriend, Lisea Lyons, in March of 1995, and had a daughter named Ramona. They have since separated, but are still good friends.
