Regina's least known cannabinol and hallucigenic inspired hard rock/industrial/punk/gothic/black metal/whatever band is resurfacing in 2004, with the free internet re-release of their early recordings and a new actual cd in the near future.
Founded in 1996 by vocalist/lyricist Daniel Johnson and guitar player Tyler Worrell, Ecoabios fell apart in 1997. Ecoabios had one release, the 5 song Necessity Of Aggression demo, but made several other recordings around the same time that have all, like the demo, found their way through many dubbing decks and cd burners over the years since.
I am tracking down semi-decent copies of the other recordings but for now the Necessity Of Aggression demo is available for free on the Joybuzzard music page and also on CornerBand

Recorded by Ecoabios in Daniel's basement with much appreciated help from Dave Solar.
The original 100 copies of the tape were made on artist Clifford Johnson's dubbing deck, and Clifford wrote the liner notes by hand on each tape which resulted in carpel tunnel syndrome so thanks to him too.
Around late 2003 Daniel and Tyler started talking about getting Ecoabios out of the crypt again. New work has been pending since, stay tuned.
