New tour dates and pictures have been added to there official site, so enjoy. Currently they are touring in Europe and will be heading over to Australia for there 1st performance ever down under. Can't wait until they come to the States, Los Angeles California especially for their headlining tour. My site is still in the reconstruction process so bare with me and thanks for visiting!

The members of Disturbed really do believe in keeping it real. Even though their new Believe debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart, even though they're touring with their longtime idols Korn, the Chicago metal quartet wants fans to recognize that stardom has its drawbacks. The group's video for "Remember," shot two weeks ago in Los Angeles, depicts the bandmembers heading from the dressing room to the stage, and on their way they see scenes that remind them of the sacrifices they've made to get where they are. "I would certainly tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that the positives [of being in a successful band] far outweigh the negatives," said frontman David Draiman. "But the negatives are difficult to deal with. While you can have sex, you may not be entitled to love. While you can have admiration of fans, you may lose touch with your family. When everyone else around you is challenging you and trying to knock you down once you've reached a lofty position, it takes that much more strength to maintain that position." The same team behind their "Prayer" video (see "Disturbed Conjure Fire, Earthquakes For 'Prayer' Video") worked on "Remember." Draiman wrote the treatment and co-directed the video with the Brothers Strause (Linkin Park, Godsmack). The first bandmember to recall the challenges of the past in "Remember" is guitarist Dan Donegan, who sees a father lean over to tie his little girl's shoe. This triggers a memory of a little girl Donegan used to care for from a relationship that has long since fizzled. Then bassist Fuzz sees two brothers fighting and recalls a conflict in his youth with his brother. "[Fuzz] was practicing guitar in his bedroom and the noise was bothering his brother, who storms into the room, grabs the guitar — which is a symbol of what Dan is trying to achieve — and smashes it to pieces," Draiman said. The hallways in the "Remember" video are filled with beautiful women, and as drummer Mike Wengren passes two of them in the dressing room, they start to make advances on him. The scene triggers a recollection of his ex-fiancée throwing her engagement ring at him and walking out because he refused to give up the band for her. The final flashback belongs to Draiman, who, upon seeing Wengren mingling with the women in the dressing room, recalls his last serious relationship that ended in flames. "My past love is caressing me from behind and I'm enjoying the feeling of that," he said. "But I break away in the last second because I, too, am no longer entitled to that. I, too, have been stripped of that. But we maintain our strength and make our way to the stage, which is what we've sacrificed everything for, and that's the culmination of the video: the live performance."

Meeting Disturbed face to face for the 1st time was nerve-racking. This past Tuesday September 16th the boys were at Sunset Tower Records being gracious enough to meet with their true fans and willing to take the time and sign autographs. Each of us had to pre-order Believe in order to meet and greet Disturbed. It was all worth it, I would have bought 100 + CDs just to meet them. Together with your wristband and receipt came a piece of paper with instructions on what not to have when meeting the band, for instance “NO CAMERAS PLEASE”. Yea right, like Disturbed fans would really listen, I didn’t that’s for sure. Pictures for this event will be posted shortly. It’s not like Towers management would enforce this rule with David, Mike, Dan and Fuzz watching. Line up began at 10:00pm, with many Disturbed ones hanging out anticipating their arrival. Finally, 11:15pm came around and pulling up right in front of us was the band greeting us with their devil horns. By 11:30pm the line started entering Tower and the 1st thing we hear is the loud, ventilating voice of David Draiman right above echoing from out of the speakers, it was finally Disturbed’s gift to us, their new material. Right before meeting Disturbed, Tower employees handed us our pre-ordered CDs, YEA! Around the corner, there they were waiting to be handed anything for them to sign and how to pose. Mike was the first, Fuzz second, Dan third, and last but definitely not least, David. The event was a success and I thank you Disturbed for being there for us!

September 17th came around and yes, time for the Los Angeles Grand Olympic Auditorium. That place was a f***ed up venue, but worth the heat, chaos, and lines just to see Disturbed perform their new material. I purchased my tickets the day they went on sale online and was confirmed for floor tickets. Upon arriving to the venue at 5:45pm (Doors opened at 6pm) there was a long line wrapped around the Auditorium. On the opposite side of the venue was will-call with another line equally the same. I picked up my tickets and was handed Arena seating. WHAT? The guy at will call said, due to the excessive distribution for floor tickets, they were forced by the LA Fire Dept. (which were present) to limited the distribution to 1st come, 1st serve. If I would have got there a bit earlier, I wouldn’t have had any problem. Anyway, It was a nightmare inside, but expected for a video shoot. Unloco (Texas band) opened up for Disturbed and they were great, they have always been great, congratulations boys for getting signed with Maverick. Finally, Disturbed came on stage and created madness. Singing some new and some old, it was the best. “Remember” is their next single, and video. Disturbed, once again never disappoints and gave their fans exactly what we wanted and have been waiting for.

Be sure to pick up the soundtrack for Queen of the Damned because the one and only David Draiman shared his wicked vocals for the up coming movie soundtrack with the soon to be hit "Forsaken". Jonathan Davis of Korn and Richard Gibbs composed the song. The only flavor that was needed was David’s talents to resurrect the awesome lyrics. To listen, click on David’s picture at my homepage. Post what you think on my guestbook.
