RE: JCM Football Game (8/30/01)
On Thursday evening, August 30, we will travel to Jackson Central Merry High School for the Bolton vs. JCM football game. Students should observe the following schedule:
05:15pm - All band members seated in the band room for roll check.
05:25pm - Load buses and equipment trailer and depart for the game.
06:45pm - Arrive, unload, and march into stadium.
07:30pm - Bolton vs. JCM. Go Wildcats!
09:30pm - (estimated) Load buses for trip back to Bolton.
10:45pm - Estimated arrival back at Bolton.
REMINDERS:
- Dress for the game will be band T-shirt and jeans. Students will need to wear the same to school on game days.
- All band members will ride the buses to the game. Students may ride home with someone else, provided that they have a note from a parent, giving permission to do so.
- Before Friday evening, students should review bus rules and football game rules in the handbook.
Remember: If you break a rule, your performance and conduct grades will be lowered for each offense, plus you forfeit your merits for the performance. All members should remain in sections and face the director during the game and be ready to play at any time.
DIRECTIONS TO ROTHROCK STADIUM:
- From Bolton's campus, go south on Brunswick Road to Highway 385
- Take Hwy 385 east towards Arlington.
- Get on I-40 easts towards Nashville.
- Get off at exit 80A (Hwy 45 bypass South).
- Follow Hwy 45 all the way around, exit on East Chester Exit.
- Go through 2 traffic lights to the over-pass.
- Go across the bridge to the first traffic light.
- Make a left on Hays Avenue.
- Go through two stop signs.
- The stadium will be on your right after the second stop sign.
