RE:     Future of Our Schools

Dear Band Parents,

There will be another very important meeting of the Shelby County Commissioners this coming Monday, August 13th at 1:30 p.m. The major topic of discussion is the funding of our schools. The location will be at the Shelby County Building, 160 N. Main.

We urge any and all parents, relatives, friends and interested community members to attend this meeting. The future and quality of our children's education depend on our support and presence at these meetings. Please make your opinions known, so we can keep band, music, art, AP, and other programs alive in our Shelby County Schools. The situation is very serious.
