RE:    All‑West TN Jr. Honor Band Auditions

 

             On Saturday, Feb. 2, The All‑West TN Jr. Honor Band Auditions will be held at Dyersburg

Middle School. THIS IS A DIFFERENT LOCATION FROM LAST YEAR. Students participating

should follow these guidelines to ensure a successful audition experience*

 

"STUDENTS SIGNED UP ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE AUDITIONS** STUDENTS MUST AUDITION AT THEIR ASSIGNED TIME. A LIST OF ALL AUDITION TIMES HAS BEEN INCLUDED, IN CASE YOU WISH TO CAR POOL.

 

1. All auditions will be held at DYERSBURG MIDDLE School.

 

2. Upon arrival, please enter through the front of the school or the gym doors on the south side of the

building. Students will only be allowed in the gym, cafeteria, and lobby area. They ask that you keep

 

the foyer and the hallways clear and congregate only in the gym or cafeteria.

 

3. Students should arrive no later than 30 minutes before their audition time. This will ensure proper warm‑up time.

 

4. The warm‑up area will be in the gym.

 

5. Students should, report to their audition room 10 minutes before their scheduled audition time.

 

6. Concession stands will be open ail day.

 

7. Percussionists will need to bring sticks, mallets, and a snare drum. All other equipment will be provided.

 

8. If you need me for an emergency I will be working in the tally room(Library) all day.

 

9. Results will be posted as an instrument group finishes. You may call my voice mail to find out the results(873‑8150ext.225) I will record the results late(APROX 9:00 PM) Saturday night.

 

10.    Score sheets will be handed out Monday Morning. Practice hard for the rest of the week, and have a great time at the auditions.
