BHS Band Fund Raisers Fund Raisers are a necessary evil in order to run a Band Program. We try to choose the best money-making opportunities in order to make the most of our time working for the band. Practice-a-Thon on Oct. 11 Students, have your family and friends sign up to sponsor you in the BHS Band Practice-a-Thon, held in conjuction with the All-Day Practice on October 11. They can pledge to sponsor you at a designated amount of money per hour of practice (such as $5/hour), a Section Leader will verify your hours, you can collect the pledges over the weekend, and turn in the donations on Monday! BHS Band Fresh Citrus Sale! September 25 - November 18 Approximate delivery date - the first week of December. Get those order forms and start taking orders! Let's set an all-time record this year with those fruit sales!!! BHS Commemorative Brick Plaque Buy a piece of Berkeley High School History! They make great graduation gifts! Also, for birthdays or just to say "Thank You" to that special teacher. Cost: $25.00; addition inscription available (such as name and graduation date) for an extra $5.00. We receive credit everytime you use your: Bi-Lo's Card Bi-Lo has changed their program, so even if you were once registered with them for our Booster Club, you need to do it again. Our organization number is 3082. Piggly Wiggly PFC Card Click the above logo, then at the Piggly Wiggly site (in the left-hand column) click "Charities", fill out your name and PFC card number, and then put "Berkeley Band Boosters" as your charity. Food Lion Card Following the instructions to "Register your MVP Card". You will find "Berkeley High School Band" on the List of Organizations. I'll be glad to register your cards for you. Click HERE to print a BHS Band Store Card Registration Form. This form will require Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free and available for download by clicking their logo. Please feel free to print multiple copies and give to your family and friends. Let them know that this card registration is free and doesn't add anything to their grocery bill, and it means a lot in support of the band! Return the forms to the Band Director or Brenda Winslow.
