Members
The band consists of 3 members. Twin brothers, Dan and Ryan Kowarsky, along with a younger member, Ohad Einbinder.
How They Met...
After birth in a cincinnati, Ohio hospital, Ryan and Dan moved to Toronto as infants, and grew up in a household filled with music. Ohad, born in Jerusalem, moved to Toronto when he was at the age of 11, and quickly adjusted to his new home and a new language, English. He met his future bandmates Ryan and Dan at a mutual friend's house when the twins were 14, and he was just 12 years of age.
How They Got Signed...
The boys woke up one morning itching for fame. They were driving around, on their way down to MuchMusic's 'Speakers' Corner' to sing in hopes of getting noticed. Suddenly, Ohad jokes about walking into Sony. So they rolled down their car window, and asked a taxie driver where to find Sony's Office. Soon enough, the 3 boys were standing in the lobby at Sony, trying to persuade the receptionist into letting them in the building to sing for anyone who might be able to help them out. Next thing they knew, 2 men walked into the lobby on their way to lunch. They overheard them, and asked the boys to sing for them! So Ryan, Dan, and Ohad sang for them, a capella, not having ANY clue that the 2 men were actually the head of Sony Music Canada's A&R department and the chief engineer for Sony's Oasis recording studios. This surprise audition was the beginning of a relationship that resulted in making an incredible band, and their debut album 'b4-4'.
